If you are happy walking, there is so much to do in the area, you need not get back in your car again for the duration of your stay ! The campsite at Lower Terawhiti Farm may be laid back and simple but it has everything you need to have a fabulous affordable holiday here in the South Hams. Pitches are large and spacious at 10m x 10m, and the rest of the field is there for children to run free, roam and cycle to their heart's content. There is no electric hook up on site but we do offer hot water, fridges, freezers, USB charging and you can have barbeques. How better to spend the evening than round a fire pit ! DOGS - are free & welcome if accompanied by a responsible human NO CHARGE FOR : USB phone charging, gazebos, cold shower, dogs, star gazing, glo worm spotting, glorious sun sets, fabulous moon rises, picturesque coastal walks, exploring the countryside, clear seas, bat observation and long sandy beaches and coves. Great site for families

Lovely site, we stayed on garden field. It is well laid out so it’s not too crowded and the pitches are a good size too. Facilities very clean with well labelled bins to make it easy to put all your rubbish and recycling in the right it place. Anita very helpful when contacted. Would definitely use this site again.

A gorgeous place to spend the last few remaining days of the summer holidays. Anita made contact straight away with details of the pitch, she was super helpful. We were put in the smaller of the two fields which was wonderful. Good flat pitch, lots of space, maintained drop loos, a shared fridge and freezer which was useful as well as usb ports to charge your phone. Being able to see the sea and have a good view of the sunset was a lovely bonus. Only 15 minutes walk to the beach which was great for the kids though we did drive down on day two for a full day on the beach and the carpark was just £5 for the day. Will definitely be staying here again!

Lovely dog friendly rustic campsite

We had a great time camping at South Devon Campsite. It’s a very relaxed site with great views and a 10-15 minute walk to the beach. It’s very dog friendly and the owners do a fantastic job of keeping everything clean. You can hire a fire pit and buy bags of logs (£6) for evening campfires which is great. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

Great campsite

Great campsite, areas were roped off to easily see where to pitch up. Warm water was amazing after a long day and the drop loos were a lot better than expected. Very friendly atmosphere in a great area. Would highly recommend
