Natures Secluded Hideaway Canterb
Star gazing at secluded cabin
This stay was so magical and felt very secluded. The large glass window next to the bed was incredible for a late night star gaze. We watched sunset and had smores over the fire which was wonderful thank you!

Natures Secluded Hideaway Canterb
Great stay at Tom's off-grid cabin. The big picture window overlooks beautiful rolling hills and feels very secluded - there are a few houses around and a small village at the foot of the hill, but you can't really see any of this from the cabin.
The cabin is spic and span and well appointed with good hot water and an excellent 2-burner stove. The surrounding field was really nice for our dog (note - it's not fully fenced in because the entrance from the quiet country road out front is not fenced, but our dog isn't one to run away so this worked fine for her). There is a fully fenced-in dog field down the road if you prefer.
Worth noting for cooler weather that the wood stove is the only heat source inside the cabin - if you are coming when it's chilly, bring along firewood (as of writing this review, matches and fire starter/kindling provided but not larger logs). We found a B&M a few minutes away but I wish I'd realized in advance so we didn't have to go back out for firewood.
A couple of kitchen supplies were missing or empty (olive oil, salt) but that is easily fixed. Most importantly the coffee was plentiful and a great kettle and French presses provided.
Great walking to charming villages from here. Overall a really nice stay.
