Camping pitch, Penn Meadow Farm
We loved camping at Frankie’s place - the views across the field, the friendly dogs, the herd of alpacas roaming freely! We went on a Sunday evening to celebrate my partner’s birthday and virtually had the place to ourselves which was lovely. We loved that you could light a fire and there was lots of wood around to use for it. One of our criteria with camping is having a pub close by and this one did not disappoint! The oldest pub, The Royal Standard Of England was amazing and only a 5 mins walk away from the site! Great style bathrooms with proper toilets and showers. We’ve already talked about coming back with friends and family.

First time camping here and we loved it! It's a fairly basic campsite but does have lovely new toilet and shower facilities.
Be prepared for the path leading to the camping field it's definitely more for tractors than family cars!
We will certainly come again.

Lovely site with great views
Lovely site, easy to book, very relaxed upon arrival, really nice toilets and showers (they were a week old when we camped there). Met Frankie next morning who was super friendly and helpful.

Gorgeous, easy site. Perfect for kids to romp around, loads of space, free firewood and very nice clean facilities with a bit of rustic character. Would wholeheartedly recommend.
The Standard pub nearby is also excellent. Pricey food but well worth it for so much warmth and character.
