Nestled atop a serene hill, this idyllic field offers a perfect escape for campers. Blanketed in lush, green grass, the field stretches out under a vast, clear sky, providing panoramic views of the South Downs National Park. Wildflowers in vibrant hues dot the landscape. As the sun goes down, the sky transforms into a canvas of twinkling stars, untouched by city lights. This remote haven, far from the hustle and bustle, is a sanctuary for those seeking tranquility and a deep connection with nature.Currently guests have full access to the field the boundaries of which are clearly marked by fencing. Wonderful network of footpaths along Hangers Way on the property and in the surrounding area.

Fantastic spot. Great scenery, lovely walking tracks and all felt very private. Charlotte was very lovely and helpful when we arrived to show us around the site and all the useful bits in the shed.

Warm Welcome, Rain or Shine!

We had a fantastic stay at this campsite in Petersfield, despite arriving much later than planned due to an accident on the way. John was incredibly helpful and patient, welcoming us with a smile even though it was late, raining, and very muddy! The location is great, with lovely views, and Charlotte and John have thoughtfully provided everything you might need for a comfortable stay. Even in wet weather, it was a great spot—peaceful and well set up. We’re looking forward to coming back when the sun is shining!

Lovely wild camping spot, nice view and completely remote. Charlotte is an absolute Diamond and couldn’t be more helpful, we had a great stay and will definitely stay again. A couple of pubs are not too far away and do nice food and beer for those not completely roughing it.
