No other signs of civilization can be seen or heard, and yet it's located only 3.5 miles (as the crow flies) from downtown Durango. Wildlife abounds on the property including turkey, deer, bear, elk and countless smaller species and birds.

Joseph was such a friendly, helpful and courteous host. The property was beautiful and I would 100% visit again!!

Fantastic primitive camp spot just 15 minutes outside of town but you feel very secluded. Recommend 4x4 to access site!

Remote. Beautiful! Close to town.
Plus you have access to a huge trail system. The locked gate made us feel safe even though for car camping, It’s as primitive as it gets! Plus joe is a solid human :)
