Secluded magical forest oasis
We absolutely loved our stay and 100% cannot wait to return as soon as possible! In my opinion, this has the most value for any stay we could have booked. A clean outhouse is provided with wood chips, picnic table area (yes there are bees, but you’re in their home) and a full on water park just steps away from your campsite. It’s hard to describe this area in words, it’s beyond amazing. She did mention during the check in tour that there might be kids or other people in the area, and sure enough within about 20 minutes of us settling in to the site there were other people hiking directly above us. After about 10 minutes or so, they left but we were weary of others walking into the campsite. We just made sure we changed in the car and things like that. But, understanding the beauty of this spot it’s easy to understand that others want to enjoy it too. You definitely need all terrain tires and Subaru came through with the x mode, but that helped with the sites seclusion and scenic beauty. The stargazing out there is unreal. Bring the kids and teach them young to appreciate nature and wildlife! Absolutely beautiful and would recommend any nature lover to book this stay.

Willow Creek Camp North
An Unforgettable Riverside Escape
My wife and I recently visited this private campground for 2 days. We captured our entire stay in 4K quality, so if you want to see the beauty of this hidden gem for yourself, stay tuned for the video on our YouTube channel, "AMERSIAN CAMPERS". We’ll be uploading it soon—don't miss out on that. It was an amazing experience. Nestledright next to a shallow, refreshing river, the scenery was truly breathtaking. The water was crystal clear, and we even spotted a foot-long salmon and countless baby salmon swimming upstream. It was nature at its finest, making the atmosphere feel both fresh and serene. One of the highlights of this campground is its peace and quiet. If you’re looking to escape the noise and hustle of daily life, this place is perfect. Despite the last mile being a bit of an off-road adventure, you don’t need an all-wheel drive or any special off-road vehicle to get there. The campsite itself is well-maintained, with a picnic table provided. Due to the dry weather, however, the fire pit was removed for safety reasons. A heads-up for fellow campers—there are no trash cans, so you'll need to pack out your trash when you leave, which is a great way to stay environmentally responsible. The hosts were an absolute delight! A lovely couple who welcomed us with open arms, they even gave us fresh eggplant and zucchini from their garden, and encouraged us to pick more vegetables if we want. Their warmth and generosity made the experience even more memorable.

AMAZING!!!!
We went from Orange County all the way to Klamath… On the way up we stopped in the Bay Area to camp the first night and I had reserved this spot last minute just so I could split the trip back, instead of having to drive 13h+ in a single sitting… so I wasn’t even sure I’d use it. Turns out this was THE BEST part of the trip by far!!! We loved the place sooo much that we ended up calling out and staying 2 extra nights 😅… Can’t say enough good things about this place and the hosts! I never write reviews for anything, and I actually debated writing this one as part of me would’ve loved to keep this little gem hidden, but I guess that goes against the concept and spirit of the app. The views are amazing, the creek it’s sooo much fun to explore (my Mallinois was happier that he’s ever been!), and there are some fun hills to hit down on the bike. This easily became my favorite place on earth!! The outhouse was great (one of the most critical things for us) and the camping site truly feels secluded… unlike other places where it feels like you’re camping on someone’s backyard. Already planning a trip back!! This was our first trip using HipCamp, and of the 3 sites that we stayed in this was the best by far!! It wasn’t even close!!

Best camping site by far
We absolutely loved this camping spot. You definitely might want to e tend your stay. It is secluded and there are really nice creek spots. You can even bring your bikes and use the hill to get down. We had so much fun with our dog. So if you come here we definitely recommend to pack extra waters and food incase you want to stay longer. We mostly laid by the creek and drank. Felt like an actual vacation. The outhouse was extremely clean. The hosts were so nice and accommodating to us
