Green Ravine Camp in SoCal
My daughter and I arrived at Nia’s around 530 pm and watched the sun set behind the mountains. The colors shining off the mountains were amazing. We cooked, ate, laughed and listened to the quiet. Finally, we sat by the fire and relaxed. A great night sleep in our van awaited. An amazing memory. Thanks Nia.

Remote camping with incredible view
If you want remote, this is the place. It's a little challenging to find the place (because it's so remote), but the views are stunning. There's a porta potty and plenty of trash cans. They also left a bundle of firewood, which is nice. But it's store bought wood so it burns very quickly. Luckily there are dead trees around so we were able to forage for enough wood to keep the fire going. There are some woods around, but the main area is fully exposed. So bring a shade tent if you want shade.
Nia was very helpful and responsive. Don't assume the GPS will get you there. On our way, we encountered a gate on one of the main roads and had to turn around and backtrack. Very bizzarre.

One of the views all to yourself
I loved the big open space and being the only campers on their site. The views were incredible and we all had a great time.

Pros&Cons - would overall recommend
Nia was very responsive and it made the check-in process super smooth. The pros about the land is that it has a picnic table, clean port-a-potty, a bundle of wood, and trash cans. The land additionally has a BEAUTIFUL view of the hills.
The cons is that it doesn’t feel super remote. You could distantly hear neighbors playing music, there is a parked unused RV at the campsite, and you could hear fireworks or guns being shot at a distance. Additionally, there is no shade. So on a hot day, make sure to bring plenty of water and something to give you shade.
We also encountered a 5-6 inch diameter tarantula so make sure to keep an eye out.
Overall, I’d recommend this place if you’d like a spot that is remote but not too remote. Again, Nia was an amazing host and quick to respond to all questions I had. Thank you Nia!
