Farm view
The Fox's were very helpful to us as well as accomodating during family troubles. I think being at their farm was super relaxing which we needed at that time. I would go back if I was in that area again.

Peaceful camping spot
I loved the space I got it was very private and peaceful. It was just what I needed a nice calm place. I loved that it was off the beaten path.

Camp Far West
Above And Beyond
Perfect camping place hosted by quality folks, very accommodating and helpful, I’m obviously not good at writing out reviews, honestly there’s only many many positive things to say about staying here, I can say that when you do stay here it’s better to drive to Galt for groceries and necessities rather than Rancho Cordova or Elk Grove.

Mr. And Mrs. Fox are really nice people and so hospitable! As soon as we checked in, we had the pleasure to be invited to the town's chili cook off. Needless to say, we loved it and felt so welcome!
Wilton is a tranquil farm town, close by Elks Grove and Sacramento. The property is easy to find. The 30 amp spot is secluded, and surrounded by greenery. While we were setting up two chickens and the sweetest cat came by to check us out! Kids are welcome to use the playground. Roosters do wake up early, so I brought ear plugs to be able to sleep in a bit.
Old Downtown Elks Grove has the loveliest antique/decor shops. There's also a few pumpkin patches around, and some wineries I wish we had time to visit.
My family had the best time at the Foxes; The kids are already asking when we can come back!

Peaceful Afternoon Setting
We enjoyed a lovely afternoon in a pretty and quiet setting. The hosts are welcoming and make sure your needs are met. Another camper left in the evening for a few hours, without taking their dogs that barked incessantly, but the host did what she could to resolve the problem. (I would recommend a rule about not leaving dogs alone at a camp sight.) We would definitely go back!

Foxes Hideout
Magic in miniature
Foxes Hideout is a small but perfectly formed cabin on the edge of a farm outside Lodi. It's impossible not to fall in love with it, with its clean, pretty furnishings, comfy bed, a well equipped kitchen, roomy shower and even a hairdryer - a real luxury on a camping trip! There's plenty of space to park our Jeep, and Kat welcomed us cheerfully and left us to enjoy the real charm of the place, complete with chickens, horses, geese, and the resident cat pottering about as we drank our morning coffee on the front deck.
