Indoor sleeping accommodation, outdoor/indoor lighting, electrical outlets, WiFi network, camping area, picnic table, drinkable well water, propane grill, outdoor sun shower and portable restroom are provided. Deer and turkey sightings occur frequently, and hiking trails are located on this 10-acre wooded property. Two seasonal creeks also located on the property which are still flowing this June. There is also an Airbnb cabin located on this wooded property about 100 yards uphill from the camp. The site is centrally located about between Oakhurst and Bass Lake about 10 to 15 minutes away from either location. The south entrance of Yosemite National Park is about 30 minutes away. The Rustic Cabin and Campsite are located on a wooded 10-acre property along with a 4-bedroom, 3-bath Airbnb cabin. The Rustic Cabin and Airbnb cabin are separated by over 100 yards and are largely obscured by tree foliage. Hiking trails and seasonal creeks are located on the property for guests to explore. The Rustic Cabin easily accommodates two guests and tent camping sites are available to accommodate up to three additional guests. Drinkable great tasting well water from a hose, portable outdoor restroom, outdoor sun shower (6.5-gallon), propane BBQ grill and picnic table are provided on site. The Rustic Cabin accommodation also includes two US Forest Service style cots, electrical outlets, indoor/outside lighting, plastic bag lined 20-gallon trash can and ceiling fan. There is good cell phone and WiFi network coverage at the site. The site is located between Bass Lake and Oakhurst off Road 426 (Crane Valley Road) about 20 miles from the Yosemite NP South Entrance and 10 miles from Bass Lake. Neighboring properties are also situated on 10+ acre parcels which makes for a peaceful and private HipCamp experience. Late night arrivals are welcome with lighting on the driveway and cabin. A 5-gallon propane tank with a fill level gage is provided for the BBQ grill. We request that guests report a propane level in the yellow range so it can be refilled. A Coleman propane tank adapter to the BBQ Grill is also provided as a backup. No trash bin is provided on site so ALL trash, recycle and personal items must be packed out upon departure. The cots are firm so recommend bringing a sleeping pad/cushion or air-mattress for improved sleeping comfort.

The site was easy to find. Wifi wasn’t working but I had plenty of service. The outdoor shower was fine but isn’t very private considering the other cabin that’s just up the road but I waited until it was dark outside so it was fine. It’s near Yosemite so I’d definitely stay here again

Peaceful but not worth the money
Waiting for more than an hour to have my call returned by the host to receive the door code. Camp beds have stains all over them. Shower is not private at all. Toilet - hand basin not working. No alternative provided, eg hand sanitizer. Very unhygienic.

Awesome Rustic Cabin with Amenities
I loved the convenience of staying in Oakhurst, but still feeling rustic. The cabin is small and cute and has 2 good sized cots that was made comfy with my own sleeping bad, pillow, and sleeping bag. Good large window and a newly installed ceiling fan made it manageable in the later afternoons/evening until it cooled down. I had the door open for air flow until I was ready to relax, which worked and no bugs or the many bees followed me in. Solar shower was a blessing after long run/hikes in Yosemite. I loved having access to warm and cold water for a shower and clean good tasting drinking water to fill up! I didn’t use the bbq grill, but it’s a nice option! Good picnic table set up and a spot you could totally camp, I didn’t use my tent because I was wanting to sleep inside. The only issue is I bumped my legs several times on the cot design. WiFi wasn’t working (but I have AT&T and I had adequate service, so not a big deal). Didn't really need it myself. Driveway was nice and I liked backing in so it was easier to depart. Would definitely stay again as I always stay in Oakhurst/Southern Entrance area! Ernie was very responsive and it was all great!

Lovely stay.
With kids
This was a great option for us and our toddler! Our pack and play could fit in front of the cots with room to spare. There wasn't a lot of things for him to get into, and the floors were cement and easy to clean. It was 94 degrees during the hottest part of the day when we stayed, so the outdoor shower was used multiple times to cool off. The site felt private and had plenty of space around to explore and enjoy the views of the trees and mountains. We got to make memories with our son while still having access to electricity and water. Win-win.

Keep up the good work Ernie!
Ernie's place was perfect for our 1st (so far) Yosemite Park trip. We arrived to town late at night and his auto lights came on and made it easy for us to settle in. The cabin was clean and well-insulated for warmth. The outlets made it easy to charge phones. I slept in a tent right outside. The land I found was a little sloped but I didnt look hard and it was comfy. We ended up not using the shower much but the hose and the water was very convenient and we loved using the grill. Ernie was very communicative and punctual on the app. We ended up having some car trouble and so the location of Oakhurst ended up being very convenient because there are many nice auto shops nearby. We ended up traveling to a mechanic in Coarsegold who had an opening. Oakhurst has relatively affordable gas and shops so it's a great place to camp right outside of Yosemite. Overall couldnt have asked for anything better.
