Settle in and saddle up for an unforgettable experience that combines the freedom of the road with the serenity of the ranch. We can't wait to welcome you to a piece of paradise! Whether you're seeking relaxation or an adventure, our place offers the perfect setting for a relaxing getaway. Explore the local charm of arts, wineries, festivals, and nearby trails off the beaten path. Bring your horses and have a peaceful place to stay while attending equine events in San Diego County and Temecula. Our ranch provides the perfect base for discovering the unique offerings of this quaint town and rugged terrain. We are next to the Santa Margarita River Trails, famous for world-class hiking, mountain biking and horse riding along the last free-flowing river in Southern California. We are also a 20-minute drive to Old Town Temecula, 30-minute drive to Oceanside Harbor and 15-minute drive to the east gate of Camp Pendleton. In 1-2 hours, you can get to Mount Palomar, Julian, Idyllwild, San Diego, Orange County and other destinations. We offer a large camping spot for your own trailer, RV or tents next to our horse barn. There is a rustic outdoor shower and rustic water closet, as well as basic water and electric hookups. Traveling with horses? They have room to stay in our Horsetel too! We have up to 5 stalls available in a covered barn, as well as a fenced pasture. Whether you are in town for an equestrian event or to ride the trails, our barn has great access to both and comfort for your horse(s). You can ride direct to the river trails from the campsite, or trailer your horses for 3 minutes to the trailhead. Select the add-on option at checkout to book this and please send a message to the host with details on your horses. No horses but interested in riding the trails? We can arrange for a guided trail ride. Please inquire in advance for availability, as this will be booked separately and direct with the guide. Trails are advanced and not recommended for beginners.Up to 1 RV or Trailer, up to 3 Tents and up to 2 vehicles allowed per booking. Max length for trailer and tow vehicle together is 45 feet. No camping in cars allowed. A rustic water closet w/ flush toilet, rustic outdoor shower with limited hot water and gas firepit are provided. A wash sink and additional electric outlets are available in the barn. Shade is very limited in the summer. The campsite is adjacent to a private drive and there may be a car that goes by, though not frequent. We hope you enjoy the songs of the coyotes, owls, hawks and other wildlife during your stay! You may even hear the neighbor's donkeys and goats a time or two. Please know that you are camping in nature and on a ranch where farm animals may be present. In warmer months, rattlesnakes and scorpions have been seen on the property. Please keep all gates closed.

Great site in a ranch
We loved this site! Very close to horses, ans thanks to the excellent host for the support in getting the trailer on the site! Very nice shower also available, with view on the surrounding nature.

The area was really pretty but not great for tent camping. It’s essentially a driveway so there was no privacy, shade or hot water as stated on the listing. It felt a little awkward that there were people caring for their horses right next to the tent and neighbors that would see us in our tent when they would go out to their car. Jeremy was really nice and offered to board our dog for the day when we went into San Diego. I would come back if we had an RV, but not camping.

Home Away From Home
This was our first time using Hipcamp and I wasn’t sure what to expect. Jeremy was an amazing host… From helping us back in our trailer to bringing us fresh chicken eggs in the morning to offering us lots of advice on how to spend our day and answering all our questions about things to do in a place where we weren’t familiar. Our stay was super comfortable thanks to the shady site, the beautiful outdoor shower and the cute little outhouse with a real flushing toilet! I can’t wait to stay there again!

A Quiet Home Base
We had a lovely time staying here. The surrounding views and people are delightful, the host’s hospitality is delightful. For our preferences, this definitely beats staying in the city at a condensed campground. We loved having the outhouse, outside shower, and fire pits to take advantage of during our stay. This made for relaxing days if we stayed at home base, but while you are here, head into Fallbrook, the people are so nice and there are some really nice spots to have a meal. Two things I would give as a heads up for anyone with a larger rig close to 43ft. First is that it is a tight area. It can be difficult to fit depending on how your RV is built. Second is that you need to lower your expectations for power. With our larger rig we turned off breakers for multiple things to keep things running better and make sure we had ac during the day. These two things would not stop us from returning, just wanted to offer the info as an honest review.
