All to yourself
96% of recent Hipcampers say this Hipcamp felt private.
This particular property has been in the family for four generations now.
It was in the past a producing walnut orchard that is now past its prime.
The orchard is now home to a couple of horses and few wild turkeys.
The property location is great for anyone traveling up or down Interstate 5 as we are located about two miles east of the interstate.
The Sacramento River is five miles to the east and the Rolling Hills Casino is not too far away.
The city of Chico is about 20 minutes away to the south and Lassen National Park and Shasta Lake are not too far north of the property.
The site is perfectly located for numerous day long adventures.
Enjoy.

We had a great weekend. The space is nice and flat with plenty of room to navigate. Would definitely come back. Corning is a cute town with plenty of great Mexican food. We enjoyed our stay.

We selected Corning Oaks for a one night stop on our way home. The site is flat and off the road enough to be private. It was quiet at night, it’s a field with trees and lots of birds and there’s a picnic table. It’s easy to get to from I-5 and fuel & services are convenient, I’d stop again.

Great stop as always. Thanks Ben for stopping by and making sure we set up in a safe location due to the storms/wind.

Great spot to stop and break up our drive. Easy to get to, not far from the highway, felt tucked away still and very private.

Third visit. Great and convenient stop when traveling the 5. Reasonably quiet, private and felt very safe.
