A treehouse in the city of Phoenix?! Yes. Our 1 acre property just outside of the heart of Central Phoenix has two legacy pine trees, one of which holds a treehouse that was originally built as an extra space for our family and is now open for guests. Not too long ago, our neighborhood roads were dirt, and there are still several horse ranches in the neighborhood. Hiking trails start at the end of our street leading to the Phoenix Mountains and a 3 minute drive will get you to Dreamy Draw Park and Piestewa Peak, with endless miles of hiking and grand views of the city.Walk up the ramp and disappear into the branches of our giant pine tree. You'll find a large deck suspended in the trees and a cozy little treehouse with giant windows. No one would ever expect a treehouse in a quiet neighborhood of Phoenix. There is enough distance from the road and tree coverage that you remain hidden. Views from inside the tree are beautiful and you'll go mostly unnoticed! I built this treehouse as a work space and studio during the covid era, while working remotely as admin for a luxury treehouse construction company. Our family still lives in the house and we welcome guests to use the treehouse. The large windows allow for great views and are mostly hidden behind all of the tree branches. Enjoy the treehouse experience and wonderful views of our quiet neighborhood next to the mountains! The treehouse has a full size bed and a small futon. There is a bathroom in the property backyard about 40 yards away with a sink and hot shower. There is good wifi signal in the treehouse and a fresh water tank. If you stay more than one night you'll see me and my family going in and out the front door and walking our dog, but we'll always be behind and under the treehouse, never looking in (I built it with that in mind). The treehouses is watertight, no worry about rain, but it is not totally airtight so the temperatures are similar to camping and there is no heater. Phoenix winters are generally mild though and there will always be enough blankets for you!

Never too old for a treehouse
My goodness!!! This was such a wonderful experience. My friend and ai went out to Phoenix for the first ever Reggae Rise Up Festival in Tempe and stayed in Niko’s treehouse. Their ENTIRE house is beautiful and oh so peaceful ☺️…. The treehouse had everything we needed for our stay, I especially loved the shampoo and conditioner 😂. Showering outdoors felt so good, it’s a must have for a house. The sweet little old collie was walking around (as best she could), the swing was an added charm, I felt so calm and peaceful the entire weekend. I would definitely come back to stay another weekend. Thank you Niko

Nice Treehouse with a Great View!
The novelty of this stay can’t be overstated- a tree house! With really nice mountain views right from the bed and two block’s proximity to hiking, it’s a great place to stay. The suite is cosy and there’s a deck and chairs outside for relaxing and enjoying the environment and views. Other fun features include a swing below, a hammock and area for a little fire, nestled behind the beautiful natural desert garden at the front of the property which was full of life! The hosts (including the ancient dog) are friendly and everything was as advertised or better. The outdoor bathroom has a toilet, sink and shower with great water pressure.

Exactly what I needed!
This ended up being the perfect place for me! If you've been off grid for a few days, and need a place with walls, and access to a nice shower and bathroom. This is your spot! The Mountain View in the morning is just lovely!

Jade loves treehouses
The bathroom and shower were a nice touch. It’s on a beautiful piece of land and waking up to the mountains was insane. Thank you so much for hosting us!
