Spruce Cabin
Sacred. Reverence. Blessed
Upon arrival we were greeted with warmth by Wendy. She gave us a tour of her property, this wonderful human offers so many things, such as workshops, animals, educational teachings and much more. The tour alone was a 5 star experience. One night was not long enough that’s for sure. All of the details, hospitality and the sacred land felt so safe to me. There is a deep reverence for the space they share with Mother Earth. It was a wonderful surprise having all the animals there along with the spa. Honestly there’s so many thing to do and offerings that one day is not enough time. I can’t wait to share this place with others, and come back at least once every season!

Spruce Cabin
Cozy Rustic Cabin in the forest
We had a great time staying at Spruce Cabin. It was the perfect amount of quiet and getting away from the city that we were craving. Wendy and her husband were so welcoming and we loved getting at tour of the property. A highlight for me was seeing their animals and getting to pet some very sweet pigs. We loved using the spa. It felt like a private get away and was the perfect place to do some relaxation. The outhouse was very clean and a composting toilet. Our bed was really comfy and we enjoyed the mix of being in the forest, but also staying really comfy and warm in our cabin. We will absolutely be recommending to friends and family!

Spruce Cabin
The Woods Experience was truly wonderful. We stayed at the spruce cabin and loved every moment of our time spent out there. We were greeted by the hosts who were all so incredibly friendly and welcoming. The wilderness spa was an amazing experience! I've been to the Nordic spa in Kananaskis and Whistler and this was so much better! We wish we could have stayed longer and we will definitely return for another trip.

Wild Woods Retreat
Wildlife oasis!
Had a lovely time camping on this beautiful, vast property! The hosts are very friendly, helpful and kind as they made every effort to make my stay comfortable, even offering propane when mine ran out! Was visited by a couple of baby deer, as well as being greeted by the various farm animals on my way in. Nothing but good things to say about the hosts and this property! Can’t wait to see what it becomes in the future!
