Located in a peaceful setting close to Mundare (10 minutes), Vegreville (15 minutes), and Edmonton (45 minutes) we invite you to bring your whole family to enjoy our farm camping getaway.
We have 4 sites that can accommodate up to 7 people each. The sites are in the open but have some protection and privacy provided by the trees. We have a fire pit, wood supplies, and a picnic table so you can enjoy your evenings by the campfire.
During your stay, you are invited to walk around the property to see our farm animals like goats, sheep, and chickens. If you’d like, we can even show you how to collect freshly laid chicken eggs, tend to a garden, or bird-watch all of the marvellous birds that fly about our property.
If you’re looking for adventure nearby, there’s wonderful hiking at Elk Island Park (30 minutes drive) or bird watching at Beaver Hill lake and hiking . The sites are all easily accessible by traditional cars and no special vehicles are needed. There is wifi and cell reception on the property, and we can also provide you with electricity to charge your phones or other devices during your stay, just ask! May is lambing time at RedRock farm ,
(Please watch for over head power lines ) stay to your right entering the yard
We hope to see you soon!
Red Rock Farm is a peaceful retreat where guests feel at home amidst nature. The hosts, Keith and Cathy, are praised for their hospitality and attention to detail, making the farm feel welcoming and well-maintained. Campers enjoy engaging with farm animals like goats and chickens, and appreciate thoughtful touches such as twinkling lights and playgrounds for kids. While the site offers tranquility away from highway noise, a few guests suggest bringing their own drinking water due to a strong smell from the well water.
Keith was very welcoming. The outhouse bathroom was extremely clean and pleasant. Keith lights up his property at night with twinkling lights. There are also lights to show the path to the bathroom. You are camping on a lawn, which is also very nice. All round, we really Loved our stay. We took a long walk right off his property on a beautiful gravel road as the sunset.
Stayed 2 nights in the trailer. The land is gorgeous and you can tell Keith and Cathy take great pride in it.
Got to meet their beautiful livestock guard Davey and had the opportunity to have him play with our dog while chatting with Keith.
The trailer was comfortable (hello real mattress!) With all the basics we could have possibly needed. It was great being able to rent their camping bbq so we didn't have to pack one with us, and the farm fresh eggs were divine.
We will happily recommend the property to friends and hope we can return again in the future.
Keith was super nice he has a really beautiful peaceful property. The eggs from his farm are some of the best I've ever had. He also gave me some cukes to snack on as well as some passes to the Ukranian cultural center. Will definitely be back! Thanks Keith!
Beautiful place to camp. The camping areas are landscaped beautifully. Keith was very helpful and always quick to answer any questions we had. The kids loved the trampoline and animals.
Red Rock Farm is a peaceful oasis, a slice of home away from home. It’s just far south enough from the highway to not hear the traffic.
The property is absolutely pristine, including the outhouse. You can tell Keith and his wife take great pride in making the area welcoming to guests. We don’t have children, but there is playground equipment, outdoor toys, a couple of bikes and a sandbox to keep the littles busy.
There are chickens, goats, sheep and Davey the gentle giant doggo! He was one of the highlights of our trip.
There is so much to explore on the property. It is beautifully decorated. There are little birdhouses, gnomes and various knickknacks hidden in the trees and the property.
We were there to work a festival nearby, so we didn’t have a lot of spare time, but there is the opportunity to do some gardening and gather eggs from the chickens.
We were in the 19 foot trailer which comes equipped with just about anything you can think of. It was a very comfortable stay.
We are really looking forward to returning when we can just relax and enjoy the beautiful sunset!
