Just 40 miles from the coast and 40 miles from the I-5, this location is definitely a "get away" destination, but is only 1 mile away from the local general store. Travelers from the coast will enjoy the winding scenic byway highway 34 that follows the Alsea River inland, while folks looking to get out of town will appreciate the hop over Mary's Peak into a forest wonderland. The campsite sits in a meadow at the base of two lovely hills, and features a year round creek guests can access and camp next to. This recently purchased farm is still under ongoing development, so keep coming back to see continuing improvements and this lovely homestead get more whimsically charming and mystically delightful.
