Outdoors@Hay is an outdoor activity centre with camping and accommodation set in 3 acres of level paddocks on the Welsh side of the England/Wales border at the foot of the Black Mountains. Just 1 mile from the market town of Hay-on-Wye and the river Wye popular for canoeing, wild swimming and picnicsPitch your tent in our paddocks surrounded by farmland. Located at the foot of the Black Mountains and a short drive to the Brecon Beacons and waterfall country. Take a stroll to the River Wye for a picnic or wild swim. The river path will take you to the town of Hay-on-Wye with it's recently refurbished castle and return for a fire pit/BBQ under dark skies. If you want an adventure we can arrange Canoeing, Archery and other activities with us prior to your visit.

Sharon was extremely helpful. She gave me clear instructions and went out of her way to show me the facilities. The facilities were excellent and I was as comfortable as possible .

Attitude on the owner was disgusting I explained I home care an one of my ladies had pasted away and apologised but i will book again to be told no even tho she kept my money

Fresh grass camping

I had such a good time at Sharon's and Mick's place! Very lovely spot they have over there and they even gave me recommendation for visiting Hay-on -Wye which is really close! I would definitely recommend this oasis of tranquility!

Perfect camp for local activities.

I loved the location, walking distance from Hay, but quiet and gorgeous location to walk up to. Facilities exactly what I needed and a bar as well! Sharon was super welcoming, really friendly.
