Harter Electric Campervan Pitch
Great small site
Lovely small campsite on a working farm. Owners very friendly and helpful, facilities very clean. Pitch a bit on the small side but big enough and with it's own tap

Gypsy Caravan
Recommended!
My partner and I stayed in one of the gypsy caravans. It was a comfortable, peaceful stay and we had everything we needed: a kettle, wood for the fire, a heater.
The campsite itself has beautiful views and is in a great location just a short drive from Scafell Pike. Also the facilities were clean and we appreciated the warm shower. The host was welcoming and informative.
One of the cats was friendly and she visited us a few times which we loved. A lovely campsite which we'd stay at again!

Gypsy Caravan
Camping on a farm
We had the best time at the gypsy caravan. The host was very attentive, provided clear directions prior to arrival and everything was set up for arrival. Facilities were very good and well matched to capacity of campsite.
Host went the extra mile, my children absolutely loved spending time with the animals and had a really intuitive learning experience on a guided tour of the farm. Would highly recommend
Owl Hoot Glamping Pod
Our stay at the Hipcamp site near Scafell Pike was a mixed bag. Unfortunately, the host failed to contact us prior to our arrival, despite our attempts to reach out. Consequently, we arrived with no instructions on how to access the pod and ended up waiting for quite some time once we met the host she was super lovely and polite. Once settled, we found the pod to be decent but in need of a thorough cleaning, especially the cooking items. While the overall site could benefit from a revamp, it does offer a decent spot, and the presence of adorable cats added a charming touch. Plus, its proximity to Scafell Pike is a definite highlight.
Lingmell Electric Gravel Campervan
Great location, beautiful views and clean facilities. Unfortunately, the gravel access to the two smaller camper van/ motorhome bays is too narrow, and I’d say that the bays are too close to one another. The path leading to the bays and the grass section restricts the angle needed to drive-in. Thankfully the bay next to us was free on our arrival as we had to use their bay to negotiate our way into ours. Due to space restrictions, we ended up having to stay in the larger by the second night. I would recommend that the owners consider the function of the small grassed area and consider removing it completely to allow all campers and motorhome to drive straight in and have enough turning space to reverse, if needed. I understand that the owners reflected that only one or two campers stay at one time, however, I imagine there being some challenges with regards to parking and access should the campsite be fully booked. I would also note which bay could accommodate an awning- I believe our original booking suggested an awning could be used, however, this would only be possible in one of the two larger bays.
