Belan Bluebell Woods

We are a small family farm site hidden in the Cambrian Mountains of Mid Wales, near the lovely town of Llanidloes. Our easy to find, just off A470 location makes a stay with us convenient yet once you wind up to our drive you are on top of the world with spectacular views both day and night - we are a recognised Dark Skies Wales area for outstanding stargazing due to our lofty 1300ft height and un-light polluted sky.

With over 60 acres to explore space and quite is guaranteed. Choose from secluded Idris the Shepherds hut with repurposed horsebox shower and woodfired outdoor bath, family glamping geo-domes Willow & Oak and Daisy bell tent each with covered camp kitchens or wild meadow camping plus a campervan spot.

Our mission is to rewild the farm, manage the ancient woodland, support the abundant wildlife & finally protect its 5 acre peat-bog (peat bogs are as environmentally important as rain forests  – peat holds more carbon than the combined forests of Britain, France and Germany!)

Barley Hill Pod

Barley Hill Pod offers luxurious glamping accommodation in Chard. Nestled in an idyllic countryside setting in Somerset, we are the ultimate romantic getaway. Relax under the stars in the hot tub on a warm summer evening listening to the trickle of the near by stream and the sound of the owls.

Our magnificent glamping pod is set in its own private field and surrounded by stunning oak trees and glorious barley fields. The site is a haven for a range of wild birds, from Woodpeckers to Kingfishers, making us the ideal holiday destination for nature lovers.

The well-equipped pod comes with a range of excellent facilities to suit all your needs. A kitchen area comes with a range of appliances including an oven, hobs, microwave, toaster and kettle. You can relax on the comfy corner sofa and there is a solid oak bar with stools. A comfortable double bed is the perfect place to rest your head at night. The en suite bathroom has a hot shower, basin, flushing toilet and a warm towel rail. Inside the pod there is electrical lights and a flat-screen TV.

Outside you can relax in the hot tub (available April - October) with a glass of wine whilst admiring the breathtaking views. A lovely terrace area also comes with seating. A BBQ is provided and a wooden fence encircles the pod to create a private and peaceful space. Opposite is an enclosed duck pond which is home to a range of ducks, as well as the occasional water-dwelling bird.

Penn Bergeyn

Penn Bergeyn are secluded and private shepherd's huts, one hut is the bedroom, the other is the kitchen and bathroom, linked by a covered walkway.
During your stay, you have sole use of the woodfired hottub, hammock, various sitting areas and an outdoor kitchen. 
Penn Bergeyn is set in its own paddock surrounded by fields and woods with easy access to wonderful walks including one round walk taking you through woods, fields even an old railway line and 2 pubs! The easiest access is by car however, you can take the train to Exeter (8 miles) and get our local taxi firm to drop you off here. Private parking on site, electric charging pod available.
