Anglesey is well known for its big skies which are ideal for stargazing and who knows, you could see the Aurora Borealis! Pitches are a minimum of 80 sq. m. with Electrical Hook Up and water connection on each pitch. Chemical waste points are available. A brand new shower block awaits as well with private changing area, showers, toilets and basins. All of this in a tranquil setting full of wildlife. Dogs are welcome on leads on the site, or free to run off lead in the safety of the dog field. Take a stroll around the site to admire the views and connect with nature. Porth Swtan (Church Bay) beach is not far away which has plenty of facilities, Bay Bites which is open to non-residents, Wavecrest Café and the famous Lobster Pot restaurant. Main supermarkets are readily accessible in Holyhead. You are also a stone's throw from the Anglesey Coastal Path, which connects you to over 130 miles of the island's coastline. Tŷ Cochyn Caravan and Campsite also offers seasonal pitches and the option of over winter storage.

We loved our stay at smugglers cove! The pitch is very well maintained with stunning views. It’s so peaceful and the fire pit was great in the evening. Facilities are clean and well kept, lovely to have warm water for washing up. We can’t wait to come and stay again in the spring/summer. We loved it!

We had a fantastic stay. John the campsite owner was incredibly helpful, recommending local highlights and even put us up in one of the yurts when the weather turned. A real highlight is the viewpoint from the rock across the lighthouse and ocean. Highly recommend this site.

I loved the Boy John. There was so much attention to detail in everything on board. Very comfortable bed and plenty of lighting. Also clear instructions around the site, regarding water, showers, toilets etc. All facilities very clean. Nothing compares to having your own little bit of coastline !!

I can’t adequately express how wonderful our stay with Callie and Gwyn was. The camping meadow was serene with picturesque views of the sea and surrounding hills. The camping amenities such as toilets and showers were immaculately clean and which was welcome after a long day of hiking. There is also a bonus of a converted barn with fridge/freezer, games, and shelter from rain if needed. Perhaps most notable about this stay were the fantastic chats we had with the hosts who were keen to share their love for the local area with handy tips and hints. This will be perhaps the first campsite we definitely will return to. Thank you both for such a fantastic stay, we can’t wait to return!

Beautiful surroundings. Nice and quiet and by a lovely little stream that we could play in.
The facilities were great too. Clean shower block and washing up area, there was even a kettle and a fridge! We loved our stay here.

We loved staying at this little campsite, such a quirky beautiful spot. Our daughter especially liked all the little hidey holes that were made by all the hedges.
Jane and family were lovely hosts, nothing was too much trouble. Loved their beautiful dog Nells who was very friendly and loves to have a frisbee thrown for her.
We had the campsite to ourselfs which was a fantastic bonus. Compost toilet was kept clean and tidy as was the shower.
Would definitely stay again and recommend to others.

Our family of 3 loved this place. The views are spectacular in every direction. The facilities are clean, fresh and well maintained. The weather was great when we were there, but there is a cool barn which would be great for when there is bad weather. Lots of space and some cool games to play. Very peaceful and family friendly.

Where do I start? Callie and Gwynn who greeted us when we arrived are lovely people and really looked after us whilst we were there. The site and space they have created is amazing. Toilets, showers with toiletries, kitchen, games, shelter, power for charging, views, fire pits, wash stations, washing line, well maintained land and some adorable cats! What more could you ask for?! My only regret is we visited to climb Snowden and I wish I could have stayed onsite more to take the views and peace and quiet in. Embarrassingly I mispacked something and only realised when we arrived but Callie and Gwynn went above and beyond to help and single handedly saved our trip to climb Snowdonia. We will definitely be back! Thanks guys!
