We are a small, peaceful. secluded campsite bordered by woodland and a stream, set amidst the wildlife country of the Ceredigion countryside on the edge of the Cambrian mountains. With only 20 camping pitches and 'The Bothy' shepherd's hut, Teifi Meadows is a place to relax, unwind and appreciate the calming beauty of nature. This is a dark sky zone with stunning celestial views on clear nights, and near-zero light pollution as well as pristine air and water quality. Our guests tend to appreciate the quiet stillness here and we don't have a lot of disturbances...so all you will hear is the wind, the birds, the rushing streams and perhaps the odd cow! :)
Everyone, even the cynical, should have a little romance in their lives. Especially if it includes a scenic setting with easy access to local pubs (a holiday extra that thaws the icy hearts of the cynical even more than blazing sunsets). Teifi Meadows should warm the battery of your camera as well as the cockles of your heart: this is wildlife country – look out for red kites overhead – in the midst of the greenery of the Ceredigion countryside, and close to the walks, dolphin spotting and beaches of the stunning west coast and Cardigan Bay. National Trust sites, River Teifi fishing and canoeing, mountain pony trekking, Roman gold mines and blooming great gardens are in the area too. Lampeter, about three miles away, has plenty of food shops, independent stores and a farmers’ market, and the pub at Cellan, also three miles away, serves food and Sunday lunches - another romantic highlight…

Please note that this is an off grid wild camping experience and as such there is no WiFi or mains power. The secluded clearing can only be accessed on foot along a steep track from the parking area and cannot be accessed by car, it's therefore not suitable for anyone with limited mobility.
Bedding and towels are not provided, you're welcome to bring your own but we offer a 'Sleeping bags & Towels' bundle at an additional charge. Let us know in advance if you'd like to take advantage of this.
Base Camp is set up for 2 adults, however there is space for a small pup tent if you wish to bring 2 juniors along. Please add them as guests when making a booking (there is an additional charge). It should be noted though that the ground is very hard and rocky making tent pegs a bit tricky.

Relax and unwind in our beautiful bell tent set within a 4 acre hay meadow with outstanding sea views. Book in and indulge in our custom built wood-fired sauna and plunge pool, wonderful way to spend the evening watching the sunset over the sea. You can also make use of your own wood-fired pizza oven and then enjoy sitting around the campfire watching the stars, we even have a telescope on hand for the more serious stargazers.
Set up comprises of a fully-kitted kitchen cabin with a dining area with solar charging points and fridge, use of your own Biolan compost loo, picnic table and fire pit, indulge in the use of hot and cold showers.
Your camping space is a 4 acre field discreetly set within our 14 acre permaculture project. We have planted over a 1,000 native trees within the past 2 years including an orchard of local heritage varieties. In the future we plan to coppice the fast growing trees such as Alder and Willow for firewood. We also have chickens safely roaming within an electric fence which is moved periodically. Fresh organic eggs always available in the summer! We never use any pesticides and keep the grass long for hay cutting. This means the wildlife is abundant. The camp is located next to woodland so we may ask you not to have a campfire in extremely dry weather. Although there is no WiFi the site does have a 4g signal, please check the location with your provider, we are with EE.
We will have our own local produce for sale when there's availability.
