We have 10 pitches across 8 acres so there is plenty of room to spread out, relax, kick a ball around or walk the dog around our 20 acre land.
We are lucky enough to have the surfing beaches of North Devon nearby, and Westward Ho! is a 20 minutes drive away. You'll find equipment hire and surf lessons and a sea pool filled by the tide. There are also some quirky theme parks for the kids in close proximity, including Milky Way and Big Sheep.

Trenance 15 minute walk 0r 3 minute drive (walk the country back lane here to Trenance via river gannel for a beautiful nature walk)

5 mins walk to esso/budgens for essentials 24 hour

1.2 miles into town, 10 min car ride to Newquay town centre to visit our beautiful Cornish beaches, harbour (fishing trips) golf course, chip shops, deliveroo do deliver here :)
Lifts i can do for £10 back from town before 12am if your stuck :)

Me and my wife went for the first time and, as first time campers in South Wales, the experience was lovely.
The our pitch was bigger than we expected, the check in process was painless, the view was incredible and I am missing the silence already.
Oh, and the home made pizza was excellent, even if the wait was longer than expected (through no fault of theirs, there were more people than usual ordering)

Beautiful location. Very peaceful campsite with electric and water. Was 4.5 min walk to the toilets but facilities there were good. No campfires but then no late night noise so fair compromise I guess.

We loved our little gateway for the weekend. Very easy to reach there, and Chris is a great host!
Bathroom was clean and they also prepared bread and other breakfast items for guests at a very reasonable price.
The area was very nice too, and we will definitely return.

We had a fantastic week camping at Hardyes countryside camping. Chris was really helpful in recommending some brilliant places for us to visit and the site was very welcoming with hot showers and space for the kids to play! Lovely home baked breakfast goodies on offer too and delivered to the tent! There were so many great places to visit we need to come back to see everything! Thank you Chris for a great holiday!

What a view! What a friendly host and what a location!!
Simply can’t fault our stay here. Well organised, great atmosphere, fantastic facilities including washing machines, showers, hair dryers, dish washing area, even a wetsuit wash!
Coffee and pastries available in the morning, perfect start to a day where you can explore the coastline literally from your front door.
We walked round to visit the beaches (2 of which are dog friendly).
Will definitely return here again.

We absolutely loved the campsite! Our first time here and will definitely be returning. Our pitch was great with an amazing view of the sunset. The views are breathtaking and so much to do and see around the area. Toilets and showers are spotless, kitchen washing area also clean and spotless. We can’t wait to come back.

Nice little campsite with all the amenities we required, everything worked well and had a nice shower. The ground has quite a lot of stones so make sure you bring your hammer. Great location, beautiful setting in the rolling hills and Chris was attentive and helpful.
