We had the best time in the Shepherd's Huts - it's such a magical place to stay, with beautiful views over the fields and even it's own little woodland walk. We spent two nights just us and our son, then my cousins pitched a tent on the third night. It was so peaceful to be surrounded by nature and have the place to ourselves. The huts were beautiful and cosy and the beds were comfy too. There was everything we needed to have a camping experience that felt both wild yet easy and with all that we needed. Thanks Abbey Home Farm!

We had a really lovely experience spending a day camping at Abbey Home Farm. The setting is peaceful and beautifully maintained, making it such a relaxing and grounding place to stay, even for just one night.
We especially appreciated the Abbey Farm Café
A special mention also goes to the stunning collection of Indian crafts and textiles. It was a wonderful surprise to discover such vibrant and thoughtfully curated pieces – thank you for preserving and sharing this rich cultural heritage.
Overall, a truly memorable visit. We’ll definitely be back and highly recommend it to anyone looking for a meaningful and nourishing countryside escape.

Really a gem of a campsite! Simple but lovely location. Love the compost toilets and did I say location! The small woodland near by you walk through to get to the farm shop is lovely - hidden suspenses here and there, and another family member offers e-bike hire! Great place for families and young and old. Just be aware that it is beautiful and basic!

We stayed in the wild flower meadow and had a wonderful time. The views were beautiful, the facilities where good and exactly as described, all very well kept. A lovely bonus was being able to walk to the farmshop cafe and making use of the farm trail walk. Would deffinetly stay again

Really nice campsite and a fantastic shop and cafe. No cars field much better than the area for campers (which has no view), but other than that (if you are in a van) this is a gem of a site.

Absolutely perfect, though not for everyone, luckily! Peaceful - meadows, birds, clover, butterflies, grasses, insects, moonlight. Spent a good while searching for the green woodpecker, but could only hear her. Couldn't drag myself away from the campsite!

Beautiful setting. If you want to get back to nature this is the place for you!
We were a large family group celebrating three birthdays and it’s perfect to pitch up for campers
and campervanners.
The toliets are great and the shower was hot.
My only feedback is to sort out the temperature of both showers so they run at a decent temp. One was cold and the other was too hot.
And more bins on site so you can recycle more easily - food / non food. You’re encouraged to recycle at home as it’s a greenfield site.
We’ll be back for sure!

Abbey Home Farm Campsite is a real find if you’re looking for a peaceful, rural getaway. I loved the quietness and natural feel of the site – it’s surrounded by countryside and feels properly off-grid in the best way.
It’s particularly great for families with young children. The site limits cars and doesn’t allow dogs, which made it feel really safe and relaxed for our kids to explore and enjoy the outdoors. There’s a gentle, welcoming atmosphere throughout.
The on-site shop and café were excellent – stocked with fresh, organic produce and really tasty food. Everything is thoughtfully done and clearly in tune with the farm’s ethos.
I had to delay my trip at the last minute, and the team were incredibly understanding, letting me shift the booking and even stay on extra days. That kind of flexibility and kindness made a big difference.
There are beautiful walks straight from the site and plenty of local amenities nearby if needed – although honestly, once you’re there, you might not want to leave.
Highly recommend for anyone looking to unplug and enjoy a slower pace in a gorgeous, family-friendly setting.

We had a lovely time. The campsite is great and the facilities clean. The views were amazing and there was lots of space. I would definitely recommend the site.
Worth noting the check-in time is 5pm. We were a bit late but found everyone helpful. it could have been difficult to sort though if we hadnt lucked out. So make sure you speak to them!
