Lovely peaceful spot with a great view. Nothing fancy, just the basics. Toilet, sink (with hot water!) and kitchen sink for washing up. The ground was nice and flat and the hedges provide a bit of extra shelter from the wind.

I found Qookey Farm Campsite by accident but liked the sound of not, being close to Wells and Glastonbury. It's quite a find. Each pitch is spacious, with its own power source and refuse collection point. Toilets are close by - the only downside? No shower facility. I'd recommend it to anyone..

Lovely peaceful woodland camping among nature. Personal touches dotted around the campsite were great, and fab local instructions to the pub and nearby walks where we spotted a trio of deer hopping through the fields!

Lovely flat field and just about quite enough at bedtime, only downside for me was almost all dogs apart from mine were not tied up and wondering. My kids particularly enjoyed the stream .

1 night at Stowford Manor Farm Campsite
This is a lovely place to stay. The railway carriage was very comfortable and very well laid out, packing a lot of functionality into a cozy space. The grounds are beautiful and quiet. It’s just a short drive to several must see places like Bath and Avebury henge.

We loved camping at Bridgewood! The pitches were very well spaced out and it was so quiet, came here to avoid the school holiday business and it was everything we needed. It was our first time with solar showers and compost toilets but definitely not as bad as we thought! We didn’t venture out far but Round Chimneys farm cafe down the road does a great breakfast, and Ninesprings country park about a 20 min drive away was well worth the visit. The campsite itself was beautiful, peaceful, Sarah and Paul were there for anything we needed and the piggies were adorable! Will definitely be coming back to camp again 😊

Amazing location, lovely and quiet for a quick getaway. Toilets were clean, and water available, and we were welcomed and shown around as soon as we arrived. Perfect site, couldn’t ask for anything more!

Lovely farm campsite with an eco vibe. Perfect for a few days with small children - there's a lovely stream running around the edge of the campsite that you can paddle in and several swings nearby to enjoy. Also you can pet and feed several different farm animals. Lovely farm shop too. There's a good village pub a 10mins walk down the lane.
My only feedback would be to extend the shop opening hours, having fresh milk for breakfast would have been ace!

Wide open campsite, loads of space so don’t feel crowded at all with some lovely views of the Mendip. Facilities were good. The site has a river running around it - which is great for kids (and adults) - it’s never too deep and lovely to refresh yourself in.

What a fabulous camping experience. Sarah and Paul were so welcoming and friendly and showed us around the campsite. We had 2 pitches to choose from and we stayed in oak which was so secluded and lovely and looked over the deer park.
Everything about Bridgewood was charming and convenient, from visiting the piggies when topping up our water, to the clean and convenience shower and toilet block. The setting is so beautiful and we had sum and shade which was perfect because we had our dog with us.
We would definitely come back again!!! Highly recommend!

We loved how central this place is yet a very rural village feel, Wookey people were so friendly, the campsite was so peaceful, loved how laid back everything was! We had the BBQ Pack that we pre ordered, I loved that Sarah (the owner, just gave me directions on how to collect it from fridge. The big billy goat was very funny and the donkeys, lamas and pigs were so well looked after. We really liked the pub “the Ring o bells” about 10 mins walk away. Great walks, especially to the loan tree and around the village. We will definitely be back.

This is a really special little site. Beautiful setting with well defined pitches for everyone. Metered EHU works perfectly and cost less than £5 for our two night stay. Great farm shop, and the opportunity to get up close with pigs, goats, donkeys and more. Two pubs within walking distance.
