A gorgeous quiet, laid back campsite - with beautiful views and a wonderful host! Chris went out of his way to help us with knowledge of the local area and was incredibly welcoming (and my daughter loved the treats he brought round every evening) Also some of the cleanest and nicest showers and toilets i've experienced camping!

We loved camping with Shelley, amazing place to camp.
It’s a true wilderness and it’s is wild camping, although there is a nice shower at the farm.
The directions to the campsite are hard to follow, ideally they would drop pins on where the campsites actually are. We have no idea if we camped at the right spot but weren’t disturbed and had a great couple of days

Amenities very clean and organised and a nice addition with optional baked goods for breakfast.

Beautiful quiet spot. Chris gave us brilliant recommendations for the local area. We had a lovely stay. The view from nearby Hardys Monument and surrounding walk was fab!

Mooie kleine camping op loopafstand van het strand. Wij stonden op plek 7. Heerlijk rustig, geen verkeer of vliegtuigen te horen. De omgeving is een landschap met veel smalle weggetjes met hoge hagen, wandelen kan heel goed langs de kust. Goede pub waar je kunt eten op 7 min rijafstand. Gastvrouw is vriendelijk, kinderen mogen in de tunnelkas spelen. Douche en wc is basic zoals we gewend zijn in Engeland maar prima.

Great views, relaxed vibe, phenomenal host and good restroom etc. As someone else said- the land can be very hard so pack extra strong tent pegs! (Advantage is then it’s nice and dry!)

We loved our little gateway for the weekend. Very easy to reach there, and Chris is a great host!
Bathroom was clean and they also prepared bread and other breakfast items for guests at a very reasonable price.
The area was very nice too, and we will definitely return.

We had a fantastic week camping at Hardyes countryside camping. Chris was really helpful in recommending some brilliant places for us to visit and the site was very welcoming with hot showers and space for the kids to play! Lovely home baked breakfast goodies on offer too and delivered to the tent! There were so many great places to visit we need to come back to see everything! Thank you Chris for a great holiday!

High Land’s was the most relaxing and tranquil site that I ve ever stayed on. The toilets and showers were faultlessly clean. I had time to recharge and catch my thoughts here, something that’s hard to find in a busy world

Lovely secluded place for camping. However since we stayed last time (1 or 2 years ago) there seems to be a hut where we were supposed to camp?? After following the directions we were sure that must be the right place. So instead we had to go up the hill away from the hut a bit as we had our nervous dog with us - came back specifically to here because no one was around last time. (Sorry to camp in a different area but didn't know what else to do)

Really enjoyed camping in the wild surrounds of a large Exmoor farm. So refreshing to find a site that doesn’t try to cram in as many pitches as it can. Quite the contrary - to have your own fire (in a firepit) and the peace and tranquility of Mother Nature is a rare and special thing. The proper toilet and shower near the farm are a great addition and make life that little more comfortable. We didn’t see anyone from the farm whilst we were there but this only added to the appeal of the campsite. Thank you

Nice little campsite with all the amenities we required, everything worked well and had a nice shower. The ground has quite a lot of stones so make sure you bring your hammer. Great location, beautiful setting in the rolling hills and Chris was attentive and helpful.

Brilliant, quiet campsite. Excellent for dogs. Very clean showers/toilets etc. Very welcoming host. Excellent walking from the campsite and lots of walking opportunities within a 5/10 minute drive. Highly recommend.
