What an incredible stay at this working farm campsite in North Devon! From the moment we arrived, Nick made us feel completely welcome with her warm, relaxed approach. She strikes the perfect balance - always visible and ready to help with anything you need, while having thoughtfully designed the campsite so that most of your needs are already taken care of without having to ask.
The practical touches really stood out: the double-space fridge was brilliant for longer stays, and the honesty box system for the washer and dryer worked seamlessly. The shower block deserves special mention - spacious enough for whole families, spotlessly clean, and with excellent water pressure and hot water. Perfect for families with children.
What makes this place truly magical is being on a genuine working farm. The animals are integrated naturally into the campsite environment, and there's a wonderful freedom to wander around and observe them respectfully. No overly officious rules - just common sense and respect for the animals and farm life. The views across the Devon countryside are absolutely stunning.
Nick herself was exceptional throughout our stay - her genuine care for guests and attention to detail really shows. We're already planning our return visit!
Highly recommended for anyone wanting an authentic farm experience with excellent facilities and the warmest of welcomes.

Loved this campsite so much! It's beautiful, lots of space, really safe. Very dog friendly. Has so much to offer. One of my favourites from this stay. I stayed in the campervan, no electic hook up. Hot showers, well stocked shop. didnt get to use the pool as it closed at 6pm daily (that's the one thing I'd change!) and I was off on a course each day until 6pm. Pool opening times aside I'd give it 10/10

Went here for our first time camping and it was perfect! We didn’t spend much time at the campsite but the facilities were great (set the bar high for future campsites!) and it’s located so well for seeing nearly all of Cornwall. It’s a small campsite but we got a nice quiet spot at the end next to the tipis which weren’t being used. Would definitely go back ☺️

Lovely camp site with friendly, helpful staff. Clean, tidy facilities and lovely hot showers. Even have a shower for cleaning wetsuits etc. It was quite busy on the Friday night I stayed and there was live music but other campers all respectful and no noise issues at all after the band stopped. Would certainly recommend and stay there again myself. PS Their hot cornish pasties are excellent too😋

This was everything we wanted from this trip, pretty central for the things we wanted to do. The site was well maintained and the facilities were very clean and well stocked with consumables. The water was always hot and drinking water on site was great. We would definitely stay there again.
