This peaceful, sheltered site has a special character. The site is the ideal place to unwind with plenty of safe space, a meandering river and friendly atmosphere. It offers 4 acres with facilities, 7 acres of wilderness, shower block, level pitches, picturesque river, children’s playground and has been rated AA 4 star gold pennant. Becky and John both love Cornwall and fell in love with the site as soon as they saw it and it provided the perfect opportunity for a new challenge. Having only recently taken over at Willow Valley in the Summer of 2024, there are always ongoing improvements being made so make sure you keep in touch. Any returning campers will be glad to know we aren’t changing the campsite itself though. Why would we when it is already so perfect!

Set amongst 5 acres of picturesque farmland, an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty and within walking distance to Charmouth, which is part of the World Heritage Coast. With your own spacious camping spot, enjoy the panoramic views of the rolling hills of Lyme Regis. We provide generous grass only pitches for tents and camper-vans. These are unpowered sites. Unfortunately we cannot accommodate for caravans. Nearby attractions include the Jurrasic Coast, quaint market towns and local pubs serving farm fresh food and local seafood. Enjoy River Cottage HQ for a cookery course and get a taste of local cuisine. Also near by is Lyme Regis driving range, golf course and foot-golf. If you fancy exploring Lyme Regis, take the park and ride which is within a short walking distance South of the farm. If walking is more your thing, there is an abundance of local footpaths including the south west coastal path, with Lyme Regis just 1 mile away. Our amenities include flushing toilets and hot water shower blocks. A designated space is avaliable for washing dirty dishes. Be advised that only cold water is provided. Lovely site, great amenities that were also eco friendly, river is right there for a swim or kayak and the morning views were beautiful. We were the only campers so it was super quiet but Jonathan was close by if we had any issues. Would have loved to have stayed longer!

A beautiful, peaceful place to camp for a few days. We loved the rope swings over the river and how the butterflies gorged on fallen apples in the orchard. Lots of space even over the bank holiday weekend.

My family and I loved the campsite. We were 10 people: 7 adults and 3 5-year-old children. We chose one of the private sites and brought 4 tents. The site was large and private. We enjoyed 3 nights there and plan to return sometime soon. We cooked over a lovely campfire, which the kids loved. They also went canoeing one morning, completing a fascinating trip.

Weekend Trip to Peaceful Blackbury Campsite

Super clean site. Toilets & shower were great standard - shower however was blocked so you end up standing in a pool of water. But super clean so no major complaints. Great recycling system + water available. My tent pitch was on a bit of slant so keep in mind if camping - arriving earlier would allow for more choice of pitch. Also a bit stoned under the grass so hard to put the pegs in but it was all good in the end! I would stay again

I stayed in Gosels as a private pitch and absolutely loved it. The campsite was perfect blend of eco/modern (compostable/flushable toilets and hot showers) within a tranquil setting. I liked how the campsite was used in a traditional sense for escape keeping noise and disturbance down to a minimum. The quarry lake was a great area for a splash around and cool down. Though used heavily by young families, had enough space for all. I already miss my chicken and rabbit friends seen daily on my pitch. The location of the site was perfect for me to make some visits out to North Cornwalls surrounding beaches and beauty spots. Well worth the trip.

My partner and I had an amazing long weekend staying at Mew's Farm. The views to the sea and surrounding hills are stunning. The campsite is surrounded by trees on one side (acting as a windbreak) and has all your camping needs close. The showers and pizza night were highlights! There is so much to see, do and explore, all within a short drive. A stunning part of the south West and well worth a visit

Would highly recommend , we stopped in the safari lodge and had the whole site to our selves kids and dog loved it . lodge was very clean and so was the shower and toilet facilities also has a kitchen what has everything you need if you do forget anything with an honesty box to leave the money in . We was lucky to have a clear night so seeing all the stars at night was amazing also spotted deers in the morning. Very pleased with our stay

Great location and great host too! Very welcoming and good information provided on site and walks etc. Toilets and showers kept clean and tidy but would be very busy if the site was fuller so a few more would be good. Lovely walk down into Lyme Regis across fields and along river but steep walk back so bus is recommended! Would highly recommend and will look to stay again! 👍
