An ideal base to relax and unwind or if you wish to park up for the duration there is plenty of local walks from our gate to lakes and nature reserves in the area. On site you will have ensuite facilities in our luxurious Quarry Wagons with a covered outdoor veranda deck and an outdoor bath tub to relax and unwind under the dark skies. You will also have your own campfire and picnic area right outside and parking is provided adjacent to your unit . We have a secluded private hillside woodland with further areas to explore without even leaving the site . We are brand new for 2024 and will have 2 units onsite this year and plans in place for another 2 soon . In total we will have 4 camping pitches with direct connection for water , electric and lpg gas for all your heating cooking and bathing needs

A quiet adult-only site (this site does not cater for children), with tents and campervans only, nestled below Healey Nab in the Lancashire Countryside. Rustic and back to basics is what this site is all about. Set amid spectacular countryside, grassy fields, woodland and streams to boot! Well behaved four legged friends are more than welcome. Campfires and good times allowed. *Please note loud music is not allowed.* Flat walks are a plenty along the Leeds and Liverpool canal or maybe a circular walk to white White Coppice might float your boat? For the hill walkers amongst us there is Great Hill and Rivington Pike to climb. Within walking distance or a few minutes drive there is pub at the end of the lane and local shops within the vicinity for those last minute snacks. Chorley town centre is 10 minutes drive away and we are close to the M61 which can take you to the Lake district in less than an hour, Manchester or Blackpool are roughly 30 Minutes away.

Really well laid out site. Quite steep in places with rough ground but fine if you are mobile. Toilet and shower facilities are excellent, as is the wash up area with phone charging facilities and shared fridges. Fantastic base to explore the area, right next to the Thurscross reservoir.

Such a lovely spot. Very idyllic and private. Pitches were a decent distance from each other which was really nice - it was nice knowing other people were around but having your own private space. Dog friendly, which was brilliant - camped for the first time with our boy. He didn't like the owls! We will be back!

We had a wonderful time at Woodsworth Exploring - our kids loved camping in a woodland, and it is well-looked after and beautiful. You do have to walk in with your gear, but they provide wheelbarrows for you to use. Emma was very responsive and helpful. We thoroughly enjoyed our visit and hope to come back sometime soon!

Cardewlees is an absolute little gem of a campsite and Johnny could not have been a better host if he tried. Great views of Eryri (Snowdonia) and across to Holyhead mountain. Great that you can have fires, although I didn't on my one night stay. The bonus of being able to book the sauna was fab! I was on one of the few campervan pitches and it was very spacious.
