Beautiful Adults only peaceful site, open all year round. We purchased this peaceful secluded 15 acre piece of land, consisting of a 3 acre lake, in early 2015. Our beautiful Log Cabin (KINGFISHER) was completed in May 2017 and the static homes style lodges, (LAVENDER AND SUNFLOWER) in April 2021. Kingfisher is a more rustic vibe with log burner and oil filled radiators for heating and Lavender and Sunflower are more modern vibe with gas central heating. Lavender and Sunflower both have ramp access. They all have their own personal jetty and veranda to fish from. You can also fish anywhere around the lake as we do not allow day tickets. Kingfisher has 3 bedrooms, so sleeps 3 singles or 3 couples. The other two have 2 bedrooms, so sleeps just 2 singles or 2 couples. It is such a peaceful haven. All your troubles just disappear when you arrive. The calming beauty of the lake is inspiring. We want this to become our very own nature reserve, encouraging nesting of all kinds to mature to full potential. We want you to share on our journey and progress along the way. We don’t look on this as a business, but a ‘home from home’. It is our secretive safe haven, nestled nicely in-between Boston and Skegness in a peaceful surrounding – there is no traffic apart from the occasional Spitfire or Lancaster flying by! Also, depending on what time of year, the occasional combine harvester or tractor working the surrounding fields. Please note that our fishing village and cabin site are for adults only, no children or pets are allowed. We may welcome well behaved and experienced fishing people from the age of 15 years upwards. Spotlessly clean, the showers and facilities were as good as at home, the extra added thoughtfulness of clean bath mats tea towels washing up liquid and lots of toilet paper and hand towel and soap. My shepherds hut was delightful, and yet again everything I needed with the welcoming cream tea, milk, tea, coffee, hot chocolate, spotlessly clean as everywhere was. The windmill, the bakery, the café, my grandchildren loved the animals and the play area. There is absolutely not a thing I can think of that was not perfect. Oh I forgot to mention the games room. Thank you

We stayed in a bell tent in Archer’s Field and absolutely loved it. This is our second time to this beautiful site and we’ll definitely return. Peter and his wife work hard to ensure everything runs smoothly and are really friendly and approachable. The site is quiet and there’s plenty of space between pitches. Our dog had a great time.

2 nights at Goldcrest - Breakaway Camping

Our family of 4 really enjoyed our stay at Robins Nest in the middle of August. Although we only stayed for a couple of nights we were able to get the break we were looking for and left with the feeling of having been in the great outdoors. With two young children it was important to us to have the security of a caravan and convenient access to all the facilities needed for a stress free holiday. Our boys (5 and 2) really enjoyed playing in the campsite grounds and exploring the wooded area. The coast was only a short drive away so it was easy to spontaneously nip to a nearby beach whenever we wanted. There was also a fantastic zoo nearby, which provided a stress free, fun and entertaining day out for the family. The friendly campsite owners were welcoming and helpful and had obviously put a lot of thought into providing us with everything we might need for an enjoyable stay.

Our stay at Bumble Shepherds hut was an absolute amazing experience. This place is very quiet at night and has a stunning view across the fields. The bed was really comfy and hot tub under the stars completed a romantic and relaxing stay. Will definitely be back!

A spotless shepherds hut, welcoming with some delicious treats. A lovely place to stay with great views after climbing the windmill, freshly baked bread on the premises and friendly staff. Clean showers and bathrooms. Farm animals such as chickens, donkey and a horse in the field and the owl calling at night.

Weekend Trip to Blooms Westerby Farm

We stayed one night at Waterbury Farm and it was pure bliss. The camping shed was cozy and clean, with the kettle in a separate shed—making the sleeping space feel roomy. The highlight was the hot tub, perfectly placed for stunning sunset views. Soaking under the stars in total peace was unforgettable. A calm, beautiful escape with thoughtful touches and lovely hosts. Highly recommended—we’ll definitely be back!

4 nights at Bircham Windmill

The pitches are a really good size so you don't feel on top of each other. It is a small site, which is a bonus. The shepherd's hut was really comfortable with lots of thoughtful touches and a cream tea to welcome you. The site is very pretty and sitting in the morning with a cup of tea looking at the windmill and seeing the horse, donkey, lambs and chicken was a wonderful start to the day.

The hut had everything we needed for a few days off grid and the location was so peaceful! I would thoroughly recommend! The weather was chilly but the log burner was more than enough to keep us warm and cosy. The kitchenette included a fridge and hob and the essential utensils and plenty of logs were provided.

Hosts were lovely and used great communication throughout. We stay I'm the bumble hut, which was lovely, clean and cosy. The bed was so comfy but the teddy bear bedding was too hot but my goodness it was so snuggly. Hot tub was lovely as was the evening and morning delivery of tea and breakfast. I recommend this place to anyone, so many different types of accommodation. We will definitely return.
