A true escape in the wild, our secluded Orchard Wagon is nestled in the corner of the apple orchard. Close to delightful beaches at Dunwich, Walberswick and Southwold, and a walk to the local pub. Perfect for those that want to get back to basics in nature, the wagon comfortably sleeps 2 people and includes a private bathroom, washing and kitchen cabin. The Orchard Wagon has a double bed (1.5m x 2m) with a smart little wood-burning stove to keep you toasty as you watch the stunning Suffolk sunsets. White Egyptian cotton sheets and towels provided. Cooking couldn’t be easier with the well-equipped cooking cabin next door or the barbeque on the stone terrace in front. Fire up the Chiminea to keep you warm as you eat al fresco. Take the stepping stone path up behind the wagon to find the washing shed with three separate rooms for washing up, showering, and the composting loo. Plenty of hot water and for those who like communing with nature try showering with the door open - it’s a lovely experience and what a view. This is camping in style!

We had a great time camping here in early November. It was just us, and the surroundings are really nice. You could hear the nearby road at times but otherwise it was everything you’d like from wild camping. We’ll be back.

We loved the site the toilets clean excellent showers. really nice barn for washing up and chilling in. We had our own pitch/space and was lovely and well maintained area. A nice private walk into southwold that was about 20 minutes to the pier. would recommend. When there was a little problem they didn’t hesitate to help and sorted it all out. ☺️ overall wonderful place to stay.

Absolutely wonderful campsite. Perfect for hiking the Sandlings Walk. This site is approximately 13 miles from start of walk. My son and I loved the basic nature of site just porta loos and drinking water what more do you need. Very relaxed, peaceful and a wonderful welcome. We camped in woods are were virtually alone. Will be back with family as you can have campfires as well. I would highly recommend this site as it is absolutely what camping should be about. Wish more were like this site.

Absolutely loved our short but sweet stay here with our toddler + dog! This was the most lo-fi camping we've done with our little one, so we were a little bit apprehensive about how it would go, but we will 100% be coming back as soon as we can! Getting a wilder experience in the knowledge that we had assistance nearby if needed was perfect + seeing my toddler in his absolute element dragging a stick through the woods in his nappy is a memory I'll keep forever! Loveliest, calmest place to wake up + wish we hadn't had to zoom back to London chaos so soon Thanks for a wonderful stay!

Very simple to find very easy to get checked in. The man at the gate was very helpful. Fire pits were already provided in most pitches, and the local area is beautiful, with some great mountain bike rides, not very technical, but very good. Think of a very flat new forest vibe (with some sand traps 😊) our MTB rides were via AllTrails App and were all good.

Beautiful tranquil location. Friendly and helpful owners and if you want to get away from it all (incl mobile signal, electricity, luxury loos) this is perfect. Was exactly what we’d hoped for and on one night we had literally the whole forest to ourselves. Close to beautiful hiking trails and some perfect early morning running routes. Lots of wildlife. Hosts supply firewood if you need to complete the experience. Highly recommend.

Lovely couple of nights in the forest. Drove down into the trees and drove round until we found an area we liked and pitched up. Back to basics quiet and dark wild camping with a tap and a portaloo not too far away! Obviously not allowed campfires in the forest, but a nice touch that there was a few fire pits a short walk away so we could sit round a fire and toast our marshmallows. Happy to recommend.
