The tree-house is eco-friendly and totally off-grid so is perfect for those looking for a peaceful and undisturbed stay. The treehouse has a double bed with plenty of comfy cushions and pillows while the log-burning stove means you can stay warm and cosy, even on the colder nights. Logs can be purchased from the owners upon arrival for £5. A kettle can be boiled and basic cooking can be done on a 2 ring gas-fired camp stove, complete with kitchen utensils, pots and pans to rustle up a meal. Fresh water is provided for guests from a bowser. The private, eco-friendly, sawdust toilet is in a separate structure nestled amongst the trees. Please note there is no shower facility and guests will have to bring their own towels. Guests will be met by the owners who will transport you down to the treehouse in a jeep. 2 nights at Elham Treehouse

Mark is a gentleman. His property is lovely. The tree house is very cool. The walk into Elham is only 20 min. My girlfriend and I commuted from London to Marks property without a car. It was more than doable, £25 taxi from Folkestone west train station . Just mentioning this in case other carless people are hesitant. There is an electric cooler, I wish I brought a steak to throw on the fire. Great speaker in the tree house. Even in November with high winds we were warm. Thanks again Mark!

5 nights at Surf Pods and Camping at Atlantic Farm

Lovely campsite, the pods look like Tellytubby Land! It's a bit of a walk into Bude probably 40mins but the park and ride is almost opposite the site and very reasonable. We stayed in the Tree House, it was comfy and clean. It has a kettle, microwave, toaster, BBQ and fridge which is so convenient. Would recommend taking your usual cooking kit as there are plates, mugs, bowls and glasses but not pots and pans or stove. I might also take a picnic table if you like to sit in the sun as the seating area is shady. No curtains means you need a sleep mask if you like a dark room but I loved waking up to the sight of a blue sky. Would also recommend a torch for going up and down the steps at night.

We had a wonderfully relaxing time at the Elham Treehouse! It was a welcome escape from our busy lives and was a magical experience. Mark is a fantastic host and his warm, relaxed manner and daily fresh-baked bread made us feel so welcome. Highly recommend this place! Thanks!!

The treehouse is at the back of a vast beautifully landscaped garden, tucked away in amongst the trees. Very secluded and private. The treehouse itself is a masterpiece. Really cute inside and very comfortable. Mark the owner and lovely and super helpful and hospitable. I highly recommend Elham Treehouse for a little getaway, it’s the best spot to enjoy some piece and quiet in the beautiful Kent countryside

We stayed in the absolutely gorgeous Flint Treehouse. My almost two year old had the time of her life. We only stayed three days but I feel like I've had a two week retreat. Heaven. Thank you. Beautiful use of space.

1 night at Elham Treehouse

Went for a weekend with my partner and it was really fantastic. you really feel isolated while town is just a short (ish) walk away with a great restaurant. the property is superbly well kept and Mark is a great host, always looking out for us. The treehouse itself is very cosy for two and stocked with board games, books, and binoculars which was a detail we loved. There is also a amazing loaf of bread which we were sent in the morning. when I say amazing loaf of bread, I mean a big block that smells like a bakery all on its own both my partner and I were singing its praises for hours on the train home. highly reccomend.
