Walk around the lake and follow all the woodland trails about the place. Biking trails are for exploring (walking maps are available ), as well as legions of historic towns waiting to be explored, or you can simply relax and chill around the pool area. All your catering needs are sorted, what with the on-site restaurant offering tip-top homemade food and weekly pizza nights. Going down the self-catering route? You’re covered there too, with all the basics available from the on-site shop. In case you need a bigger stock up, the nearest supermarkets are found in Confolens (15 minutes’ drive).
