Bradbury Nature Retreat is located on a stunning 11 acre property that offers glorious uninterrupted views all the way to Aldinga Beach (just ask the host to show you where you can find this secret view). The property is accessed via a private road so it is incredibly quiet and serene. Instead, get lost in the sound of wild-life all around you! Your campsite is surrounded by native trees and scrub so it’s not unusual to have kangaroos, koalas, and native birds like kookaburras and cockatoos stop by for a visit. Behind your campsite there's an organic fruit orchard where the chickens forage. The property also features paddocks with roaming sheep and an alpaca. Let the host know if you would like a farm tour or to join in feeding the farm animals. We only allow one group on our campsite at a time to ensure you have a peaceful and quiet stay. We are a small, family owned and run hobby farm. Eggs and other farm produce for sale on request when there is surplus. We are on a small parcel of acreage along the Bremer river, we have 3 horses, pony and a mixed bunch of chickens. 🐓 Paddock with shelter available $25 per horse per night, 2kms up the hill is the Monarto woodlands great for trail riding. Was a great farmstay, plenty of room, beautiful views, your on top of the world/plateau, great base to explore Hahndorf, Monarto Safari Park, Adelaide Hills, great host. Only negative and I think 🤔 it was just unlucky for us that it was very windy. It got to the stage of uncomfortable but locals that we chatted to said the wind was not normal. Stay was Xmas 2025. Would recommend stay but take warm clothes just in case the weather changes. We had looked at temps before we left home but the wind was unexpected.

We loved camping here for 3 nights with our 2 dogs on Georgie’s property. It was the perfect spot for us. Under 1/2 hour to Adelaide and just over 1/2 hour to Maclaren Vale. Stirling (highly recommend) and Hahndorf very close by. Deviation Winery 5 mins away and very welcoming to dogs. Check out Uradila Hotel and bakery too. Adelaide Hills are just stunning so many quaint towns. Georgie and family are very welcoming and friendly hosts. Hope to stay here again.

4 nights at BIG4 Port Elliot Holiday Park

Although the park was busy, its location and facilities were very convenient. The park is located between two busy coastal towns on a point with a quaint seaside village within a pushbike ride. The park was impeccably clean and facilities were in great condition with plenty of hot water. The land has access to two beaches and a small bluff to take in the sunset. Room for kids & dogs. Plenty of space to drive through for van and space for the car. Local town had some amazing venues and shops. Surf was plentiful with lots of local breaks. Didn’t really need to deal with the office so not sure on staff assistance. Great spot.

I absolutely loved camping at the plateau. Its such a beautiful serene place. Fantastic for the rugged style camping. The views are spectacular and Jarrod is such a fantastic host. Make sure you have a strong sturdy tent, I recommend a dome tent as the winds can get intense sometimes as your very high up. This style of camping is for experienced campers. I loved every part of it and I will definitely be going up there regularly.

Large, flat and even ground perfect for our family tents. The entire area is enclosed with sheep fence, great if you have dogs (or kids) who like to wander. There is a good sized fire pit. Area is peaceful and very quiet. The owner Georgie’s house is around 60m away which frankly is better than most camp grounds. Georgie and family were very warm and welcoming but respected our space and privacy. The road leading to the property is nice for a stroll, especially if you have dogs. Georgie gifted us a delightful bouquet of flowers which was very sweet. Georgie was responsive to our queries prior to arrival and very helpful and friendly.
