The reverberating sounds of hooves stamping the leaf litter beneath them, choruses throughout the campground. The trees lie still, only dancing in the company of a heavy wind. Corralled by a few equestrian campsites, this area’s known to be heavily trafficked by the hoofed fauna of Apache and Sitgreaves National Forest.
