North Causeway Campground

Curt Gowdy is all about hip-rustic fusion. If this state park were a restaurant, it’d serve perfectly seasoned raw fish on wooden logs instead of plates. This is a glamp-free zone, but Curt Gowdy is not without style, so prepare yourself for landscapes of clear, cobalt reservoir, rocky mountain biking trails that make you feel like you’re traversing a giant, marvelous inuksuk, and contrasting stretches of meadow and forest. North Causeway has easy reservoir access and plenty of first-come first-served sites.
