It all started on a first date in Boston....Nick had to excuse himself to take a phone call. His cow had fled its pasture. Much to Tara's surprise in that moment, this man she had just met was finishing his engineering degree at Northeastern, but was simultaneously building a homestead in Vermont. Fast forward 7 years, and here we are, building the life we only dreamed of. We yearned for simplicity. Deeper connections to our surroundings and mother nature. A calmer sense of place. The satisfaction that comes from growing food. Creating with our hands. We're a working farm and homestead. Every day at Quarry Brook is a new adventure, and we wouldn’t have it any other way. We’re incredibly excited to share our little corner of southern Vermont and what we’re up to with you!

Camp at Quarry Brook

Cool spot, great hosts. Set us up with a bunch of firewood and told us exactly where to go. Private campsite, felt secluded and natural. Nice spot with everything we needed.

Cabin Retreat at Quarry Brook

My wife and I enjoyed the Cabin @ Quarry Brook. The cabin was well maintained and equipped with everything we needed. Lots to do nearby in VT.

Geodesic Dome at Quarry Brook

We had a great time at the dome. It was easy to access nearby trails and the town of Putney was fun. The site itself was comfortable, clean, and very relaxing. Plenty of necessities provided along with helpful small touches like the wagon to get your items to and from your car. Would definitely stay again.

Great place to stay beautiful sight can't beat the view of the Stars, feel really bad because I got sick and threw up in a blanket but five out of five review.

Geodesic Dome at Quarry Brook

Interesting town for a child of the 60's. !The Dome was spacious and warm, and questions responded to quickly by the host.The Quarry was quite magical,as well.
