For swimming we recommend the beautiful beaches in Rondeau Park, only a few minutes away! Also, you can walk or cycle to town for an ice cream or groceries. THINGS TO DO * Book an oil painting session for 35,- (Pay upon arrival. Excl. water mixable oil paint, but available in our store). Learn painting like the old masters! * Nearby there's plenty to do. Offering a serviced camping site for tents for up to 4 persons, with a firepit, hammock chairs, rustic toilet, shower, a large deck with bar-height table and chairs, floating dock, garbage and recycling bins, canoe and private 1.5 acre lake! Parking is right at the campsite, following a 400m tractorway over grass. This tractorway enters and exits onto the county road independent of the host’s private home driveway. Our small, bio-diverse farm is in a quiet location but only 10km from shops and cafes. Our property is run with minimal chemical inputs. The lake supports fish, turtles, thousands of tree frogs in the spring, and musk rat, woodland ducks, and heron. You may also see rare bobolinks, barn swallows, and bats in summer. Star gazing is very good, there is very little light pollution. Tall poplar trees provide shade and shelter as well as pleasant sounds of the wind. Footwear is advised. Conditions underfoot are usually good, we do try to keep poison ivy in check but it does pop up here and there.

Learn more about this land: Enjoy a waterfront view of Lake Erie 105 feet above the water! This quiet private area is surrounded by forest with a beautiful view of Lake Erie. It’s off the main road on a dead end road with no authorized access, situated at the back of a 12 acre property. The camp site is ____ sqft plus a path that can be walked on through the forest (there is some private property and private areas around the camp site that should not be accessed, they will be marked) The 5th wheel trailer with 2 single beds can be combined into a double bed. The trailer has many amenities including, a fridge/freezer, bell satellite TV, Stereo system, Kitchen with some supplies, potable water, toilet with a septic system, outdoor furniture, propane bbq, 2 burner hot plate, picnic table, and fire-pit. Many chairs to sit at both the fire-pit and deck, the trailer has a retractable awning that can be used to provide more shade for the deck There is no direct beach access, however, the beach is 5 mins driving time to Port Bruce, 15 mins to Port Stanley or 25 mins to Port Burwell The trailer is an older 5th wheel in livable condition, set in the forest, the trailer has signs of aging, there are animals that call the forest their home, we do the best we can to keep them out but animals will be animals it is not luxury, but very comfy, quiet and peaceful It does have its limitations No heat, no hot water, no WiFi, no shower, no oven, no stove, no microwave The water pump switch has to be turned on and off during use Some phone service providers work better than others on site As the property is on the edge of the cliff at the back, please use common sense when close to the edge, the edges are not meant to be stood on, it is quite safe if you don’t go right to the edge if you are looking to turn it off for a few days, get away from busy city life for a weekday/weekend or just simply reconnect with nature- this is the place!” Any questions please feel free to ask We look forward to hosting you!

Great little spot, small, cabin. Great for two people. There is a 2nd level Bunky but it might be a little tight to sleep in. Recommend for two people Max. Very rustic, yet well built cabin. Wood burning stove was easy to use. Note pit toilet ia open to elements. Quiet, location, sweet little forest. Lots of great birds to see including woodpeckers in the surrounding forest. Went in November for a micro sabbatical would be nice to go back in the summer. Host very attentive, and considerate. Highly recommend.

My boyfriend and I absolutely adored Ben’s cabin. It was so beautiful and we had the best time. The host has went above and beyond to give us guests a great experience when staying here. We were just so amazed by the property. And the touch of Christmas was the cherry on top. We plan on coming back at least once a year. We especially loved the seclusion, peace and quiet, and being right in nature in a luxurious cabin. This is the absolute best place for a relaxing trip. It definitely exceeded our expectations. And Ben is a very friendly and attentive host, and responds quick with any questions or concerns.

We first stayed at Angler’s Camp over Labor Day weekend and loved it so much we came back a month later for another weekend. Steve is a great host—friendly, welcoming, and keeps everything in perfect shape. The place is peaceful, quiet, and has everything you need. My husband and I really enjoyed just sitting back, reading, watching the stars, and soaking in the calm. It’s exactly the kind of relaxing getaway we were looking for.

Second time staying here and just as wonderful as the first. Sara and Mark were available for any needs and are really friendly, they want you to really enjoy your time there. It shows from all of the extras they have set up, from free firewood to a 5gallon container of drinking water, well kept campsite, and hammock chairs to relax in. It's like a little peace of heaven.

Lots of trees and room for the dogs to run. Property lines for the roadside houses are clear but it's a bit unclear where this property ends. There are some nice spaces to set up and some very pretty meadows. You can hear some noise from neighbouring property but the space is completely private.

Great value and a cute spot right off the highway. Perfect for a stopover on a long trip. The host was extremely friendly and even came out to help us set up our tent in the dark. I would highly recommend this place. As some people have mentioned, it is right beside the highway and it is quite loud - having earplugs was helpful!

Stayed at this site over the weekend and can't say enough about how peaceful it was. The hosts were kind and accommodating. Sarah and Mark thought of all the details one might need when camping. I didn't have to bring anything for the BBQ or campfire, it was all provided. 5 gallon water for drinking and washing dishes. Outhouse right at campsite. There is a pond with a canoe which was nice to use. Their dogs Honey and Maple stopped by for a visit on their walks, they are adorable! The campsite is at the back of their farm so you pass by ducks and horses along the way. They checked in through the stay to see if I needed anything. There are 2 hammock chairs which were great to relax on. Anyone looking for a relaxing, laid back time to refresh, this is the place. I will definitely return and recommend this place.
