Discover the most magical spots to pitch your tent or park your rig on your next Silver Star Provincial Park adventure.
This park is best for winter Nordic skiing, snowshoeing, and snowmobiling but doesn’t offer camping.
The 6,092-hectare Silver Star Provincial Park surrounds (but doesn’t include) Silver Star Mountain Resort, a winter hot spot. The park is home to the Sovereign Lake Nordic Club and has over 50 kilometres of easy, intermediate, and advanced ski trails, as well as snowshoeing and snowmobile trails. In summer, the same trails double as hiking routes. With no camping options, the park is only open to day-use visitors. Silver Star Provincial Park is the traditional territory of the Syilx Okanagan Nation and the Splatsin First Nation.
Silver Star Provincial Park is open year-round, while the main snow season is from November through April. Hiking is possible from July to mid-September, but outside of those months, the trails may be muddy or impassable.
