1. Copmanhurst

Hacketts Haven is our 68 acre property, located near Copmanhurst which boasts your own exclusive panoramic view overlooking the Clarence River. The site is approximately 14 metres clear/elevated from the river (which makes it very safe if the river was to rise above minor or moderate flooding). A truly unique camping experience overlooking the wide spanse of the Clarence only a short distance from the small village of Copmanhurst, perfect for a group booking of up to 20. Enjoy your own private site with a sandy beach @40m below site, east of the Copmanhurst boat ramp. Take a walk down the steepish soft sandy cattle tracks to the waters edge and enjoy yourself. Note: Sand can be very hot! Obedient dogs permitted and that they are on a lead or under control with livestock or cattle dogs around. No amenities so campers need to BYO everything they need and leave no trace. Campfires permitted when restrictions aren't in place - check with host. NOTE: No treated wood to be brought or burnt on the property The Rest Point Hotel sells bags of firewood. As per Hipcamp guidelines, be fire safe, dispose of garbage responsibly and leave no trace. The grass is left lush for the roaming cattle to enjoy, however we will endeavour to slash the 40+ acres and/or whipper-snip around firepits when possible. We took our tinny as the river is quite big in this area and there is a public boat ramp about 300m upstream. The host was easy to communicate with and very helpful. Could not have asked for a better experience. Plenty of things to do - day trips to Grafton/Maclean/Yamba/Broomes Head - and the Clarence Gorge - as well as canoeing down the Clarence River. Fish, Kayak, Swim. - Campers to have their own amenities. - Good access for all types of vehicles including 2WD, caravans, motorhomes. - 4WD or AWD highly recommended in heavy rain. - Access is via 3 km of gravel road. - Dogs are permitted but strictly must not chase or upset cattle or horses - Campfires permitted in a designated area when restrictions aren't in place - BYO firewood or cut your own from ample fallen timber - 13 klm from South Grafton Shopping Centre, Coles Ect. - Property Approx 1500 meters to Clarence River Junction - A small number of canoes and kayaks are available.

Perfect for those who love water activities- boating, kayaking/canoeing, swimming, fishing, bushwalking or mountain bike riding. We provide 4WD accessible riverbank campsites suitable for tents, camper trailers and off road caravans. In good weather some sites can be accessed with 2WD vehicles. There is access for boat launching at one site. Perfect for self sufficient campers. Pets by negotiation. Please bring your own toilet facilities, if possible.

4. Winegrove

Winegrove is our home base for our working beef cattle properties which includes our small hardwood timber mill. Winegrove consists of 656 acres. The 2 Winegrove campsites are located along 1.2km overlooking the pristine Clarence river exclusively spaced @ 500m apart. P2 and P3 also have great views and are sheltered and private. Note: Fig Tree Lookout P2 is out of flood levels and can be accessed by high clearance 2WD, however we do recommend having 4WD just in case during wet conditions. Boulder Bay P3, which has ONLY 4WD access, can flood during a major flood in the Clarence river, however you can park/camp higher up when wet. [Note: Hacketts Haven is our new property, located near Copmanhurst which boasts your own exclusive panoramic view overlooking the Clarence River. The site is approximately 13-14 metres clear/elevated from the river.] Obedient pets permitted and that they are on a lead or under control with livestock or cattle dogs around. No amenities so campers need to BYO everything they need and leave no trace. Campfires permitted when restrictions aren't in place - check with host. Firewood for sale by the bag at homestead.

5. ‘The Hut’ on the Clarence (4WD)

A working cattle property on the Clarence River. Relax, unwind and enjoy the amazing river views and sunsets. Access to river for swimming, fishing and kayaking. 'The Hut' is fully self-contained, with kitchen, bathroom, TV, ceiling fans. We supply BBQ, Camp oven, Chairs and Tables. It sleeps up to six guests, with 1 Double bed and 2 sets of bunks. All beds have Doonas and Pillows. For groups of more than six, we have the 'Donga' next door, which sleeps up to another four. The Donga has its own bathroom and beds in one large room dormitory style. Doonas and pillows are supplied. 1 double bed and 2 single beds. Tea towels, Bath mats and hand towels supplied. BYO Sheets and Towels. Group bookings of up to 20 are welcome using additional room for tents. We offer capacity for up to 8 people in tents in addition to the 6 guests in the Hut and the 4 guests in the Donga. Access is only possible for 4WD. Our track into Hut is 4WD only. Peak time prices apply. There is no Wifi available however there is very good mobile coverage. Tinny’s or Kayaks can’t be put in directly at hut, however we can show you where you can put them in on our property. We have 2 tandem Kayaks available for your use during your stay - Kid’s must wear life jackets at all times when using the kayaks. Additionally, if you have booked the hut for 6 and under guests, however you would still like some privacy, an option in extras is to book the Donga also for $80 per night. STRA: Exempt

6. Riverstone Farm

Riverstone Farm is a working cattle property located in Seelands, NSW. You'll stay on grassy, riverfront camping sites on the beautiful Clarence River. Enjoy fishing, paddling, boating, swimming, water skiing, and relaxing by the campfire…. the perfect camping experience! The North East facing sites overlooking the river and rocky cliffs opposite, the view is really quite serene. There is easy river access, ideal for launching kayaks or heading in for a dip. All campers need to be equipped with their own camp toilet, and we kindly ask they take all waste when they leave. We offer several camping sites on the riverside site, but also we offer the option for larger groups to book the entire riverside site out exclusively. Please refer to the different site options.

7. Two Mile Crossing

Two Mile Crossing is a 101 acre property consisting of mostly bushland with a small creek running through the middle, offering primitive bush camping for those who love to be out in nature. There is abundant birdlife here such as black cockatoos, kookaburras and tiny little robins, you will see bandicoots and the occasional goanna. The creek flows year 'round and when there has been good rains, there are plentiful deep water holes to dip your feet into and get cool. There are a few walking tracks throughout the property for those who like to take short walks and for longer bushwalking adventures, Two Mile Crossing is bordered by the Fortis Creek National Park where there a plentiful tracks for those who love to explore the bush. We are only 20 mins drive from the 'mighty' Clarence River which is great for swimming, canoeing and fishing and we are also only 25 mins from Grafton central which has shops, cinemas and places to eat. Just recently we have added two gorgeous piglets to our family who love to hang out with us and the chickens. Come and help us feed every afternoon. .

8. Westbury Downs

Each campsite features its own fire pit, perfect for cooking dinner or relaxing by the campfire under the stars. Firewood is available near the gate to the river for $10 per bag. Campers have 2 km of riverfront to enjoy – ideal for swimming, fishing, kayaking, or simply soaking up the serenity. You’ll often see our cattle and horses grazing through the camping areas, adding to the authentic rural charm. If you need to stock up, the Mann River Caravan Park shop is close by for ice, gas, ice cream, and takeaway meals. Come unwind, connect with nature, and experience real country hospitality by the river. There are plenty of great day trips from camp — visit scenic river crossings like Cangai, Hanging Rock, Coombadjha, Lillydale, and Copmanhurst, or head up the Gibraltar Range to explore Washpool and Gibraltar Range National Parks for rainforest walks, birdwatching, and waterfalls like Boundary Falls. 9. Misty Valley Glamping

Please Note Misty Valley Glamping is now closed for the rest of 2025. The Calendar will be open for bookings from March 2026. MIsty Valley Glamping is a 100-acre property, mainly bushland. The bush has abundant wildlife, and the bird's songs include Kookaburras and Magpies. The camp is ideal for short bush walks and bird-watching: ideal sunsets and star gazing opportunities. There is a seasonal creek and Fortis Creek National Park is right next door.

10. Grafton Southgate on the Clarence

The large and grassy campsites are located on the banks of the Clarence River where you can enjoy fishing, swimming, water skiing and jet skiing. Guests staying with us are required to be fully self contained with their own toilet/shower facilities and must take all waste and rubbish with them on departure. Campers can launch a boat from the property to enjoy all the river has to offer. You can drive the boat to the Ulmarra Hotel nearby, they have a jetty where you can park and enjoy a feed and a drink. You also can take the Ulmarra Ferry and Drive to the Ulmarra Hotel for dinner or lunch. You can access the property via road from Grafton or via Ferry from Lawrence and Maclean. We are located just 11kms from Grafton should you need any supplies. Please note, caravans are not permitted on the Ferry but camper trailers are okay. We farm Hay on the property and do have some friendly cattle around who may wander past to say hello. Campfires are permitted outside of fire restrictions. Sorry, no pets.

11. Frog Hollow

A small convenient rural property flanked by natural bushland and pasture. Lots of native wildlife bouncing, flying, walking through at dusk and dawn. We have several shaded areas surrounding small dams and springs, scattered throughout the 20 acres. Located approximately 1km off Big River Way (formally the Pacific Highway) this is approximately 2km from the New Highway off-ramp. We are fortunate to have a sealed road to the front gate. The allocated camping area is 500 metres inside the front gate, located in-front of our front dam. The House is located 1km from the front gate. Currently, we do not have any livestock on the property. Dog friendly. No amenities so campers need to have own camping toilet and leave no trace. Good access for 2WD, caravans and RVs. Campfires permitted when restrictions aren't in place, and there is a fire-pit available. BYO firewood or gather your own from the fallen branches or logs in and around the campsite.

13. Horizon Oasis

Horizon Oasis is a 30 acre ever evolving permaculture and organic multi faceted farming property located just outside of Coutts Crossing. Situated 20 minutes south of the historic township of Grafton and 55 minutes north of Coffs Harbour we have the best of both worlds. We are in the country and yet so close to the coast with Yamba beach (45 minutes), Red Rock (35 minutes) and Woolgooga (40 minutes) down the road. We are located only a short 15 minute drive off the M1 freeway and 5 minutes from Armidale Road. Our quiet, pristine country side of semi rural rolling hills and Kangaroo River running along our western boundary provide a relaxing and picturesque place to pull up for a night or 3. You will be enchanted by our local wildlife consisting of a multitude of Kangaroos and Wallabies, abundant with colourful bird life with the odd fox or Koala paying a visit to the block. Watch the amazing sunsets as they come down over our valley displaying an array of orange, reds, pinks and purples as you cook your meal or relax with a drink or good book. Then fall asleep under the brightly visible stars of the Milky Way. Awaken to the peaceful chirping of our native bird life easing you in to your day. Open your blinds to appreciate the morning mist that usually settles across our valley or mobs of Kangaroos laced with the odd rabbit having their breakfast on your doorstep. This property shows beauty at all times of the day providing for that relaxing and back to nature stay we all require to recharge our batteries. Take a stroll down to the Kangaroo River and walk our short riverside bush walk consisting of 3 sandy beaches, vine swings for the kids and small lookout. You will enjoy the scenery and tranquil sounds of the river wild life, or sit back and read a book or take in the country air and enjoy your campsite, or take a short drive to one of our local public swimming holes or the local township of Coutts Crossing. Coutts Crossing township is 5 minutes drive up the road and offers a pub and bistro, live music, hot food shop, post office, general store and fuel station for supplies and a golf course for those keen to hit a ball. The local region is dotted with weekly markets and other tourist entertainment options. You can find a number of public riverside spots to spend the day lazing on a sandy beach and enjoying beautiful swimming holes within a short 5-10 minute drive of the property Although we are always introducing new attractions to our property, it is always a comfortable place to stay and will likely always be different each time you come back to stay. Developments in the pipeline will be the addition of animals, an orchard, a dam and Aquaponics vegetable production which are currently in the works. We currently have 18 chickens and 10 Angus cattle on the property and fresh organic free range eggs can be purchased at request. 14. Harper Farms

Harper Farms is a fourth generation, family owned cattle property out of the small township of Cangai; just 50 minutes west of Grafton. Located along the Mann River, just one kilometre off the Gwydir Highway, campers will find easy access to our riverfront site. The property is bordered by the Dandahra Creek and the Mann River, and boasts a variety of native bird and wildlife; peacocks, platypus, ducks and the occasional pelican to name a few. The Mann River is open to fishing November - July; and is a local favourite as a kayaking, canoeing, paddle boarding and swimming destination. Beef cattle and stock horses have been run continuously on the property since the early 1900s, and our friendly horses and cows will often pay a visit to the campsite. Along with our working dogs, we also run a small breeding kennel of Golden Retrievers and Border Collies. Dogs are always welcome on the farm, and we simply ask that camp visitors keep them under their control during their stay. A small shop with basic amenities (groceries, camp supplies, fishing bait, fuel) is located at Jackadgery; a 15 minutes drive east on the Gwydir Highway. To the west of Harper Farms lies the Gibraltar Range which hosts Washpool National Park with walking trails, waterfalls, rainforest and swimming areas. Away from the city lights, the Cangai area offers exceptional stargazing and is popular with keen astronomers and photographers. Our property currently hosts one large campsite; ideal for family and large group gatherings. Booking the site includes complete privacy for your group whether large or small. Our family and friends have gathered at Harper Farms for over a century to enjoy the beauty of the Cangai area, and we are excited for you to come “Camp Cangai” too!

Horizon Oasis is a 30 acre ever evolving permaculture and organic multi faceted farming property located just outside of Coutts Crossing. Situated 20 minutes south of the historic township of Grafton and 55 minutes north of Coffs Harbour we have the best of both worlds. We are in the country and yet so close to the coast with Yamba beach (45 minutes), Red Rock (35 minutes) and Woolgooga (40 minutes) down the road. We are located only a short 15 minute drive off the M1 freeway and 5 minutes from Armidale Road. Our quiet, pristine country side of semi rural rolling hills and Kangaroo River running along our western boundary provide a relaxing and picturesque place to pull up for a night or 3. You will be enchanted by our local wildlife consisting of a multitude of Kangaroos and Wallabies, abundant with colourful bird life with the odd fox or Koala paying a visit to the block. Watch the amazing sunsets as they come down over our valley displaying an array of orange, reds, pinks and purples as you cook your meal or relax with a drink or good book. Then fall asleep under the brightly visible stars of the Milky Way. Awaken to the peaceful chirping of our native bird life easing you in to your day. Open your blinds to appreciate the morning mist that usually settles across our valley or mobs of Kangaroos laced with the odd rabbit having their breakfast on your doorstep. Coutts Crossing township is 5 minutes drive up the road and offers a pub and bistro, live music, hot food shop, post office, general store and fuel station for supplies and a golf course for those keen to hit a ball. The local region is dotted with weekly markets and other tourist entertainment options. You can find a number of public riverside spots to spend the day lazing on a sandy beach and enjoying beautiful swimming holes within a short 5-10 minute drive of the property Although we are always introducing new attractions to our property, it is always a comfortable place to stay and will likely always be different each time you come back to stay. Developments in the pipeline will be the addition of animals, an orchard, a dam and Aquaponics vegetable production which are currently in the works. We currently have 18 chickens and 10 Angus cattle on the property and fresh organic free range eggs can be purchased at request. Harper Farms

Harper Farms is a fourth generation, family owned cattle property out of the small township of Cangai; just 50 minutes west of Grafton. Located along the Mann River, just one kilometre off the Gwydir Highway, campers will find easy access to our riverfront site. The property is bordered by the Dandahra Creek and the Mann River, and boasts a variety of native bird and wildlife; peacocks, platypus, ducks and the occasional pelican to name a few. The Mann River is open to fishing November - July; and is a local favourite as a kayaking, canoeing, paddle boarding and swimming destination. Beef cattle and stock horses have been run continuously on the property since the early 1900s, and our friendly horses and cows will often pay a visit to the campsite. Along with our working dogs, we also run a small breeding kennel of Golden Retrievers and Border Collies. Dogs are always welcome on the farm, and we simply ask that camp visitors keep them under their control during their stay. A small shop with basic amenities (groceries, camp supplies, fishing bait, fuel) is located at Jackadgery; a 15 minutes drive east on the Gwydir Highway. To the west of Harper Farms lies the Gibraltar Range which hosts Washpool National Park with walking trails, waterfalls, rainforest and swimming areas. Away from the city lights, the Cangai area offers exceptional stargazing and is popular with keen astronomers and photographers. Our property currently hosts one large campsite; ideal for family and large group gatherings. Booking the site includes complete privacy for your group whether large or small. Our family and friends have gathered at Harper Farms for over a century to enjoy the beauty of the Cangai area, and we are excited for you to come “Camp Cangai” too!

We absolutely loved our 3 nights at Camp Cangai! Directions were spot on & very easy access for our 20’ van. We camped right on the river & the water was perfect for swimming every day. The site has plenty of room for groups (Mick said there was a group of 25 following us) but we had the place to ourselves. A nice, clean drop toilet is provided & has fantastic views! We also ordered firewood from Mick & he provided heaps! We took a drive over the bridge one day & ended up doing a big loop back to camp - really nice scenery. If you’re in the mood, it’s only 18kms to the Mann River cafe for a burger for lunch. They also sell fuel, alcohol, food & drinks. All in all, a spectacular way to spend time chilling out & totally relaxing. We sure did!
