Acorn Lodge Red Oak Forest
Perfect spot to be one with nature!
Laura's land worked perfectly for what we needed! It was so cool hearing the coyotes, owls, and frogs sing us to sleep. Ticks were very active, so be aware of that, but that's something you're going to run into almost anywhere you go. Make sure to bring a cushy sleeping pad or an air mattress, as the ground you pitch on is crushed stone. Nobody else was booked at the spot at the same time as us, so we loved how private it was, and traffic noise was virtually nonexistent! Thank you Laura!!

Laura was super helpful and responsive, good access to wineries and the firefly's lit up at night Unfortunately with kids and all the long grass we battled ticks all weekend. Pieceful and somewhat private but not sure it's worth 80 per night.

Laura was communicative both at the time of booking and later on as the trip date was approaching, she was also very welcoming upon arrival. The property is large and has plenty of surrounding nature; it’s a great spot for anyone looking to get a camping experience in the area!

Beautiful sunrise, lovely host!
Lovely owner, so helpful and is able to let you know what’s in the area. The land is great for camping, it’s very flat, easy to navigate and was perfect for car camping in my Jeep. Saw a family of deer! Excellent place to watch the sunrise.

Bikepacking at Niagara region
Laura is a very welcoming host and easy to communicate with. The site and surrounding forest makes you feel far-from-everywhere, exactly what we looked for! But the location (close to Virgil) sets you in kind of the center of the Niagara wineries area. Site is big enough (huge I would say) to host few groups at the same time. My human, our bicycle & myself liked the place enough to become a great bikepacking weekend. Great place for me to discover, run, play! Woof!!
