Sampson State Park Campground

If you’re a bigger is better type, Sampson State Park Campground won’t disappoint. Plopped right in the center of the Finger Lakes Region, Sampson State Park sits above Seneca Lake, the largest and deepest of the Finger Lakes, and covers nearly 2000 acres, including just over 5.5 miles of lakefront, endless hikes and various sports fields. The campground itself is home to an abundance of wooded sites (both electric and non-), with restrooms and showers and a 103 slip marina with boat ramps to boot. If Mother Nature gifts you a rainy getaway weekend, you can still get your adrenaline pumping in the large indoor rec hall with video games, billiards, table tennis and foosball.
