Meramec Campground

Crawl into the caves or explore amongst the dense shade of deep greens and dark soil and you won’t be able to deny that Meramec Campground is really freaking cool. It might even become one of your favorite places in the world! If bats aren’t your thing, or perhaps your heart rests in leaving the lovely critters be, the park is built around a river that provides hours of “ahhh!” relaxation. Many come here with canoes or those big awesome river floaties. Word gets around and the campers pack in on the weekends, but it’s a peaceful location and well-known for being family friendly.
