Best for self-contained campers. There are no toilets, showers, or potable water at this Hipcamp.
Serene paddock camping located on the hilly outskirts of the historic town of Toodyay. Sprawling 5.5 acres, this is the perfect spot to get away for the weekend or school holidays.
Toodyay is just 5kms down the road where you can find all the necessities; fuel, groceries, 2 pubs, cafes, best bakery in Perth (in my opinion), great walks and great views .
The camping will be on either paddock the sheep aren't, both are easily accessible by all vehicles, caravans and trailers.
Please note the following:
There are animals on site.
Pets allowed but must be on lead.
You must be self-sufficient, bring your own toilet and water, leave no trace when you go.
Fires permitted in winter months only.
As with all properties in Toodyay you will be able to hear the train passing by.
Also we are a small farm with farm animals and as such there is animal noise.
It's an urban myth that Roosters only crow at dawn!!
Generators are not allowed
tents and camper trailers onlyA lovely open area suitable for every method of camping (please note during the summer months the grass dies off ). Easy access for all vehicles.Pets allowed on lead. (please note we have 2 dogs who roam free on the property and they will come and say hello )

M&S Hobby Farm offers a picturesque camping experience close to Toodyay, with plenty of space and friendly farm animals, making it a hit with families. While Sarah, the host, is frequently praised for her hospitality, some campers have noted the disturbances caused by nearby trains and the early crowing of roosters. The location is perfect for those who enjoy a rural setting with easy access to town. Despite some noise issues, most guests report a peaceful stay, enjoying the views and the charming company of goats, alpacas, and other animals.

Although the host was lovely, the noise from the train line throughout the night with freight train every hour or so was disturbing for light sleepers.
However this was compounded by the rooster on site which started crowing at 3 the first night of our stay through to 6am.
On the second night of our stay the rooster started crowing at 2 am through to 6am.
At this point we decided to leave a day earlier as we were very tired.
One day when opening the gates to go out the owners dog jumped on me. I was not hurt but scared as I am scared on Staffies.

We loved our weekend getaway on Sarah's property. Sarah was super friendly and even gave us a delivery of fresh eggs from her chooks. The property is very spacious and picturesque with a view of the hills to die for. We'll be back soon.
