Private, but muddy and primitive.
I love that the sites are spaced farther apart and effectively private and the host is very responsive online. Having said that, the combination of mud and close-in growing trees makes navigation of the site a problem. While I did manage to get a small travel trailer and my truck in, it was a muddy mess (the site 4 was private but quite muddy, too) by the time we left. It's just a very narrow corridor to get to the site we were at and even the modest traffic that was there (1 other camper and us), the road was tore up and muddy. The mud and very close trees limits navigating a trailer (even a wider truck might be an issue) where you want to and probably limits most people who don't have decent AWD/4WD. It's an awesome place that's close by the Sol Duc but needs logging and mud removal/new gravel. Has a lot of potential but needs some investment before it's worth the price that's being asked.
