Created over 25 years ago by the Funstons, we (Will and Asha) became the stewards of this beautiful property in June 2016. Fun fact, ours was the first Hipcamp on the Olympic Peninsula (June 2018). We live on the property with Clancy, Uncle Larry, Tim and Pete and our friendly dog, Pickle. We have lovely grounds to wander in with lots of eclectic art, and a couple of outdoor spaces to support your sense of peace and connection. This is NOT a party camp space. We are a place for peace and quiet where you can enjoy the woods. We are also not suitable for children (if you have tweens/teens, message us). We have too many "attractive nuisances" for young children to be safe. Secluded campsites are nestled among cedars, firs, hemlock and maples. Tents only, no campers/trailers or pets please. Community firepit has chairs, with free firewood (a curated selection of site-grown firewood may include: cedar, fir, hemlock, cherry, madrone, etc). Fire BAN is OFF, and campfire in the pit is OK. We have a picnic table with a tarp rain cover to use for food prep, with handy trash and recyling cans nearby. Portapotty is a short walk from the tent sites. Safe, secure, private, scenic. Please have no more than two people and one vehicle per site. There is no electricity available in the Tent camping area. Good Cell coverage in the area, and wifi available near the Big Barn. You're staying on a 7 acre, mostly forested parcel, 1/4 mile from Hwy 101, mid way between Port Angeles and Sequim, WA. Some traffic hum, but not much, and it varies depending on how the wind is blowing. We're 3/4 miles East of the Deerpark entrance to Olympic Natl Park, 4.5 miles East of the Main Olympic National Park Wilderness Information Center, 33mi from Lake Crescent Spruce Railroad trailhead.

Camping at this site feels like staying in a friend's welcoming backyard, complete with friendly hosts, Will and Asha, who go out of their way to make you feel at home. The property is well-equipped with useful amenities like a communal cooking shelter, clean facilities, and a well-maintained garden. While the proximity to the road might bring occasional noise, the overall peaceful atmosphere and the convenient location near Olympic National Park more than compensate for it. Enjoy the art installations and the chance to meet fellow campers in a setting that balances privacy and community.

Perfect stay in Port Angeles
Asha and Will were amazing hosts and the land was magical. We had messed up our dates and they graciously let us stay an extra day to make up for the missed time. There is potable water, portapotty was clean, fire pits and cooking gear. 10/10 would recommend!

Lovely spot!
Really friendly hosts, great location just off the ODT, cleanest porta potty EVER, and a place to charge electronics! We had a wonderful stay, thanks Will & Asha! (& Pete & doggos!)

Asha was very communicative, checking in was easy, the site and amenities were well kept. Beautiful site overall, we really enjoyed our stay and appreciated some of the conveniences like the camping stove and community fire pit that already had wood available.

This is a quiet, wooded, secluded space, and well-situated along the northern edge of the Olympic Peninsula. The on-site propane stove was a bonus!
