Nestled on a hillside overlooking the tributary to the Potomac this glammed out cottage has everything you need for a romantic getaway. Immersed just outside the tall glass walls is a private deck overlooking a forest for miles. Keep an eye out for wildlife, you might get lucky and see a couple of bald eagles on your visit. Enjoy indoor or outdoor shower. The treehouse is completely private and equipped with wifi, kitchen, king bed and more. Looking forward to your stay! This is 5-Star live-able art, built from years of reclaimed lumber and timber raised and cut on the property and constructed to be private. Your only complaint will be having to go home the next day :). Cleaning precautions for everyone are taken to extreme lengths. All linens, pillows,ect Completely removed and cleaned. All surfaces receive commercial disinfectant and upon the request of the guest we can coordinate fogging services, extended vacancies prior to stays etc. We apologize in advance that some normal things are removed completely like printed house manuals etc. We ask that you remove all trash and a few other things upon departing to help us stay safe as well. Steep steps and loft style bedroom. The driveway can be difficult in large vehicles and snow. Internet cannot be guaranteed if there is a problem with the provider.

Very peaceful & private 'glamping'

We loved our stay at the Tranquil Treehouse Cottage. It was nicely appointed with everything we needed for a comfortable stay in a beautiful location. We appreciated how quiet and private it was and enjoyed walking around the property and down to the creek. Several nights we had a campfire, and it was the nicest fire ring set-up I have ever used, with an elevated bottom that allowed good ventilation and a lid to close it up when done. The hosts were kind and gracious, but not overbearing. It wasn't really camping...with a full kitchen, bath, king bed, etc., but was perfect for us on a rainy weekend. The birdwatching was great, and on my last walk down to the creek a gorgeous fox crossed my path. This was a luxurious experience for us that we hope to repeat.

Very Peaceful Weekend Getaway

We enjoyed our stay. Was a bit confused because of the address mix-up but all in all we had a very peaceful stay. Very secluded and quiet. Other than a few occasional speed demons on the back roads the entire trip was great!!!

We absolutely loved our stay at the treehouse. Though it was short, it was a perfect end to our trip to Virginia. The view from the balcony is breathtaking. I would go back in a heartbeat.
