This is my go to place when I want to attend events in the DC/Northern Virginia area. I travel from the Eastern Shore of Virginia and spend the night here so I have a shorter drive to my final destination the next day. I've been here four or five times now. The space is very private. Each time I've been the only camper. I set up my tent at the tree line on the west side of the property and in the morning watch the sun come up. While there is some traffic noise from nearby roads I've never heard a human voice during my time here. When I drove in and parked this time I was greeted by 4 horses on the farm!

This is a perfect camp sites. Denise is very nice and I am falling in love to the nature environment. If you close by this city, please make sure to stay in this campsites. You will have no regret. I will positive come back to this wonderful camp sites.

A beautiful hot summer day turned into a cooler night with a few welcome sprinkles of rain overnight. Sunrise was quiet and luscious. I was the only human around and two horses said good morning to me on the way out.

I traveled to this location now for my second time. Initially, I was going to spend one night, but wound up needing two nights. Denise was very accommodating.This location is about one hour away from Washington DC area where I attended an event. While the days were quite hot in DC, the trees at the campsite offered shelter from the sun in the late afternoon. By the time darkness arrived a light cool breeze came with it.
