Cute space, not very private.
The milkhouse itself is very clean and well kept, comfy bed. It is, however, sitting right in the middle of the front yard, with the front door facing the owners house. No curtain on the glass door. I'm probably a more private person than most, so I wished the rental was a bit more tucked away. The port a potty was a short walk across the lawn and the shower is located near the house. Both require a walk across the front lawn. The outdoor shower is awesome, fantastic water pressure - but also located right under the windows of the main house. The cabin itself has no water, but a dry sink or tub would have been helpful for washing hands/faces/cups. There is also no A/C, and I was surprised how HOT the space was when we first arrived. Needed to crack the windows and leave for awhile. If you're booking in the summer, definitely consider the daytime temps. The cabin has a metal roof and zero shade, bakes in the sun all day. Luckily the nights are very cool there and sleeping was comfortable. I would recommend bringing some chairs because there is nothing to sit on outside of the cabin. Overall I was happy with the space, it was close to where we needed to be. If I were to book again I would just be sure to bring some additional supplies.

Breathtaking views. Good hosts. Near great swimming holes and hiking. Close to town. Everything is as it said it would be. And that outdoor shower is divine

As described and previously reviewed. A great location! Just a few minutes from town, though you wouldn't know it by the solitude and views. Would stay again for sure.

The cabin is beautiful as is the property, and everything was exactly as Marisa described in the posting. Marisa and Sterling made sure I had everything I needed, responded to my messages promptly, and offered great suggestions for places to hike, eat out, and swim. I would come back in a heartbeat!
