Two miles So. of Lake Conroe off Hwy 105. 7 miles E from Historic Downtown Montgomery, 12 miles W from Downtown Conroe, 51 miles N from Downtown Houston off I 45. Host did not greet us when we drove in. Hipcamp photos absolutely do not accurately represent the site and surroundings - looked like we were in their backyard. Multiple mobile homes/campers (appeared to be permanent), constant barking dog(s), junk everywhere. We were looking for a quiet and peaceful weekend out in the country and this was absolutely not it. We drove away as quickly as we could. Felt like a ripoff.

We appreciated having a level concrete pad for our RV travel trailer with full hookups on Jeanna's quiet rural property in the piney woods.

The sweetest folks. Clean campsite, water, power, laundry. Close to town. Gated and safe. Would stay here next time I’m in town!

We had a great stay here. Jeanna and her husband were wonderful hosts. We had a lovely time staying here and exploring the area. We enjoyed seeing the chickens and cats everyday. Jeanna had some fresh eggs for us and they were incredibly delicious.
