Enjoy a peaceful retreat in nature and get a chance to see wildlife up close. If you’re lucky you will get a chance to see deer, horses, and a variety of birds, including turkey.
GPS may bring you close. We are directly across from lots of cut down trees piled by the road.
Site was heavily overgrown and there were large piles of horse droppings throughout. Had to clean/stomp down site prior to setting up camp. There is a dog pen a few hundred ft from site; dogs barked all night. Not scenic, not relaxing. Was going to stay 3 nights; got a hotel after one.
Its a nice first back country camp. Pick your own camp spot. A little confusing getting to where you are supposed to be, a couple arrows or signs would help. Of course there are ticks but where in tn aren't there. Great quick feedback from the host. Lots of different things to explore if you like hiking without a trail. Camping area is rather clean. You will have to hike your gear in around 1/4 mile. Would recommend 👌 👍
The place is amazing and quiet and there is a barn on the property at the edge of a meadow that is magical! The horses were a nice and unexpected treat too.
Great place! Amazing host!
