Hello and welcome to the peaceful countryside! Proud to be named HipCamp's 2022 Top 10 Properties!
We are a luxury hunting lodge here in South East South Dakota and love offering people the chance to camp, park, and explore our property! We are fifth generation farmers and are so proud of our farm and of South Dakota. Ask us about guides for the way out west to the Black Hills. We have 10 acres to share and are excited to host you! On property you can find, corn crib swings, a winding enchanted path to a gazebo perfect for sunsets, a gravity wagon basketball game, a romantic lit pavillion, a balcony overlooking both Iowa and Nebraska, and fields of corn and beans!
Bathrooms can be found centrally on the property, we have 2 womens, 2 mens and one family/ handicap accessible. Now with Shower AND WIFI!
Blue Tin Ranch offers a cozy and scenic camping experience surrounded by beautiful farmland. The hosts, Kelley and her family, are praised for their warm hospitality and helpfulness. Campers appreciate the well-maintained facilities, including clean bathrooms and hot showers. While the serenity of the location is a highlight, friendly stray cats and Freckles the dog add charm to the stay.
This farm is beautiful! I car-camped and this was the safest place to do so. I truly felt secluded and cozy! I also got the chance to meet a very adorable and friendly ginger cat who greeted me in the morning. Kelly was very welcoming and sweet as soon as I arrived! The shower and bathroom are a very nice touch also. A perfect place to stay when you’re traveling a lot!
Absolutely loved our time here. In fact it was so cute, we ended up staying another day just so we could enjoy the ambience, The amenities were much more than we expected. Absolutely beautiful. And couldn’t beat the Sunset from the Sunset camping spot. Thank you for the wonderful time.
Host greated us when we arrived and was very friendly. Bathroom and shower was well kept. There were very friendly stray cats interested when we were setting up camp. It was gorgeous view wise and at night you can see many stars.
Kelley was so kind and welcoming. Kelley allowed us to explore the property and in the evening it was very quiet and peaceful. There was even an orange kitty that joined us by our fire which to me is an added bonus!
